Adora's POV:

I was laying in Catra and I's bed, hugging her pillow to my chest as tears raced down my cheeks. Its been a month since Catra's been pronounced comatose. I spent my time reminiscing, reading, praying and hoping she'll come back to us once again, doing some yoga even though Crystela told me not to but fuck that, and listening to music. I smiled, tears dripping onto her pillow as I thought about her face, her smile, the determination in her eyes before she walked into the battlefield against Kade, the love she showed me. But, now I cant even go visit her or think about her without my mind rushing to negative places or breaking down in front of her hospital room.

Catra and I have had tons of support, some villagers from Taros, Poleses, Tendūji and other kingdoms, cities, farms and villages stopped by and filled her rooms with 'get better soon' gifts and bunches of flowers. Some kids, even gave her a short hug and some of them gave me hugs and a kiss on the cheek and belly. I loved witnessing the love and gratitude Taron's people had for Catra, and surprisingly the love they had for me, Glimmer, Bow, Iroh, and Colossus.

Crystela, Glimmer, Iroh, and Bow stopped by our house a couple of times to drop off food, water, groceries, and just to talk sometimes and to check up on me. Today was one of those times.

I clutched onto her pillow tighter, before there was a knock at the door. I sat up and looked at the door, contemplating if I was in the mood for visitors. What if it's something to do with Catra? I sighed, wiping my tears and stood up from my place on the bed and walked over to the door and opened it..

"Adora!", Bow squealed stepping inside and picking me up. I blinked before looking down at him and saying, "Hey Bowie". Bow sighs and puts me down, hugging me tightly but not to tight to hurt me or to cause discomfort. I smiled and hugged the boy back before pulling back and asking, "What is it Bow?" when I saw the tears in his eyes.

Bow smiled, pressing a soft kiss to my forehead and whispering, "Its Catra...". My heart stopped and I knit my brows together feeling tears brimming my eyes, "Is she...?". I swallowed the lump in my throat and asked waveringly, "gone?".

Bow shakes his head and says, "Doctors told me that she opened her eyes last night. she called for you before she began to hyperventilate and thats when doctors put Catra back to sleep. She's awake now". My body filled back up with warmth, my eyes filling up to the brim with tears of joy as I hugged Bow once again.

Bow's hand cupped the back of my head as I cried happily into his shoulder. "I told you she'd be ok hun", Bow cooed into my ear as he held me tight. I pulled back and asked softly, "Bow can you take me to her?". Bow smiled, and nodded wrapping his arm around my waist and picked me up, bridal style as he walked out of my room and down the stairs.

We walked out of the house and was met with Colossus, Iroh, Glimmer, and Crystela waiting for us in a car. I smiled as Bow put me down, and I was brought into a group hug. I smiled as we all hugged eachother and said our greetings.  We all pulled back and Colossus opened the door to the car and helped me in.

The car started and we were on our way to the hospital. I felt my palms start to feel sweaty, and my heartbeat started to quicken.

Miracles are truly real... I'll see you soon babe.
