Catra's POV:

Its been about a day since we've arrived on Taron, we have been walking towards the village that my father mentioned. "UGHHHH Catra! How far is this damn village? My feet hurt so much". Glimmer whines dragging her feet across the incredibly green grass.

I sigh and turn to her saying, "stop whining, we're close. And Glimmer, If your feet hurt so much get on my back". Glimmer's eyes sparkled and she squealed, clasping her hands together her eyes sparkling as she asks excitedly, " Really?!". I chuckle and nod, crouching and gesturing for her to climb onto my back.

My eyes widened when Glimmer aggressively jumped on my back, wrapping her arms around my neck and her legs around my torso. "I love you so much Catra oh my god! Adora marry her already!", Glimmer cries nestling her head in the space between my shoulder blades.

I chuckle and shake my head, standing up straight and quirking a brow when Adora and Bow were snickering. "What?", I say looking at Adora confusedly.

"Nothing its just you're such a good friend baby", Adora says smiling at me warmly, putting a hand on my chest as she pressed up against my body and pressed a kiss to my cheek. I blinked and felt heat rising up my neck and asked, "What was that for babe?". Adora giggles and slaps my cheek softly before pulling back and entangling her arm around Bow's and they walked in front of Glimmer and I.

The hell was that about? I shake away the thought before we reached a part of our route that gave me chills. We walked through a ravine, I focused my attention on the cliffs above us and the little slits in the rocky walls of the ravine. My eyes widened when I felt the presence of somebody above us. An ambush?!

I stopped and put Glimmer back on her feet making her groan and ask, "Whats wrong?". I shush her and turn my attention to the two walking in front of us. I demand as quietly as I can, " Adora, Bow come here". They looked at me with raised brows and I sigh and grab their forearms pulling them close to my chest and wrapping my arm over their backs and using my body as a shield. "Whats going on Catra?", Adora whispers confusedly looking me in the eyes. I put my finger against my lips, gesturing for her to shut her mouth.

I close my eyes and controlled my breathing, trying to focus on my surroundings. I heard the sound of someone kicking a pebble and opened my eyes, as I whirled around and caught an arrow. An arrow that was whizzing through the air, aimed towards my head.

I blinked and looked up at the culprit, clenching my jaw and breaking the arrow in half. "Who are you and why are you trespassing on Tendūji ground?", The strong voice demanded from the top of the ravine. I clenched my fist and grit my teeth, before I felt a hand slide itself in mine, interlacing our fingers comfortably. I felt all the tension in my body fade away as Adora stood by my side her chest bared pridefully.

"You're lucky that arrow didnt strike her, and that she caught it in time", Adora says, a smirk on her face as she looked up at the figure that was standing at the very top of the ravine. "Why?! Why shouldnt I end you both right now? How do I know that Lord Kade did not send you to massacre Tendūji like he did months ago?", my body tensed up and I felt a chill run down my spine, images of the massacre in Etheria flashing through my head.

"M-My brother m-massacred Tendūji?!", I ask shakily, feeling nauseous with the idea of Kade doing such a thing. "What do you mean your brother?! Who are YOU?!", The figure steps into the light to reveal a young woman with black hair, copper skin, and a huge crossbow in her hand and a sword strapped to her waist. Adora squeezed my hand softly and I looked over and smiled thankfully before pressing a kiss to her temple and letting go of her hand and stepping forward.

"Im Catra of Taron, daughter of Ex-Lord Meliodas and Queen Ryua. I am the rightful heir to the throne. I have returned back home, seeking training from the great Iroh The Last Son of Tyushi Gyano. And who might you be?", I say, puffing my chest out and putting my hands behind my back establishing authority. The girl takes me my surprise as she jumps down, and slid down the walls of the ravine before landing perfectly only a couple feet from me. Damn! Does her ankles not hurt from doing that?
