Saving Sparkles

Catra's POV:

I was walking the corridors of Prime's ships, Glimmer's words running through my head. Please Catra, think about it and do one good and meaningful thing in your life. I stop in my tracks and growl, "One good thing? Pathetic". I heard footsteps and turned around to see Prime's goons. I sigh and ask, "What is it?". The clones stops and says, "Little Sister, Horde Prime is demanding your counsel". I nod and say, "Take me to him". They nod and put their hands on my shoulders leading me down the corridor to Horde Prime's throne room, opening it and walking me in.

I was facing his back and got down on one knee, bowing in respect. "Good work little sister. My brother has been telling me of the information you gathered from the Queen", Horde Prime says turning to me. "We have tracked down the Etherian Ship, soon She-Ra will be in my grasps". I narrow my eyes and nod. "You did the right thing sister, you will be exalted. Risen up from the other wretched beings on your planet. Isnt that what you wanted?", Horde Prime says. I look up at him and then at the blinking dot on the map behind him that represents Adora's ship. I then look back at Horde Prime's eyes, narrow my eyes and smirk, "Yes, Lord Prime".

He smirks and turns his back, sitting on his throne and crossing his legs and saying, "Go, in peace sister. Good work". I nod and bow one last time before turning around and walking through the corridors. So what? You'll just run away? To what? If Prime captures Adora he'll use the Heart of Etheria to wipe out the universe. Is that what you want?!. I growl and shake my head, stopping in my tracks and looking at the crystal on the corridor looking at myself. I close my eyes and my mind flashes back into a memory, I thought I forgot. I was hiding behind a crate, crying to myself. Lonnie and Kyle were hanging out with Adora more than me. Thats when I hit Lonnie and ran away in tears. I thought I lost my best friend to them. Thats when I heard footsteps and felt my ears twitch. I then saw Adora. "Hey, you're missing dinner Catra", I hear her yelling in the halls. Thats when she found me and sat down in front of me, "Its the gray kind". I clench my eyes closed and turn away from her. She slammed her body against mine and my eyes widened, I growled and pushed her away, "What are you doing?". Adora smiles down at me with a toothy grin, "If you're missing Dinner, so am I!". I pout and slide away from her, tucking my knees to my chest and growling, "No! Why dont you go eat with your bestfriends Lonnie and Kyle! You like them better anyways". Adora sighs and twirls me around saying, "Is that why you hit them? Catra, I'll always be my friend". My eyes softened and I let out a purr and cuddled myself against her side. Adora giggles and plays with my ears and says softly, "You should still apologize to Lonnie and Kyle though". I growl and tackle Adora to the ground and say, "No! I will never ever apologize to anyone! Ever". I get off of her and running into the corridor. "Catra!", I hear Adora yelling from behind me.

I sighed and opened my eyes and murmuring, "The good old times". I sighed and started walking again, turning a corner and walking off. I heard kids giggling, and I stopped in my tracks and I whirled my head towards the middle of the corridor. My eyes widening when I saw Kid Adora and I running around. Adora tackled me to the ground as we both giggled. My eyes softened when Kid Adora turned towards me and says, "I'll always be your friend". I blinked and our kid versions of ourselves were gone but I knew what I had to do. I ran down the corridors, turning a harsh left and sliding from how damn slippery these floors were before running towards Glimmer's room.

I saw one of Primes going to feed her, I crouched low to the ground and tackled the clone to the ground. It roars in rage and I chuckle, "No hard feelings, Hordak", Before I shove my hand into the back of his neck, disabling him and grabbing his forearm and saying, "Im coming in!", I slide the clone's hand across the barrier opening the room. I see Glimmer looking ridiculous with the leg of a chair in her hands. Glimmer narrows her eyes and growls, "What are you doing here?!". I sigh and drop the Clone's hand and say, "I want to do that one good and meaningful thing in my life that you said. So uh, come with me". I say lending out my hand. She drops the hand with a chair leg and takes my hand.

I drag her along with me before I heard thundering footsteps before three of Prime's
clones. They stop in front of us and I get in front of Glimmer. "Sister, why is our guest out of her quarters?", One of the clones say. I smirk and say, "Well the Queen wanted some air, didnt you sparkles?", I growl before tackling them to the ground and hitting the back of their necks. I turn to see Glimmer struggling to fight one of them off and run along the walls, tackling it to the ground and sliding across the floor. "Hit them in the back of the neck to knock them out", I shout at Glimmer watching as she slammed her fists into the back of the clone's neck shutting it off. I jumped up and grabbed her by the arm and run towards the doors I saw the the Clones going through.

I slide in and throw Glimmer into the teleportation pod, making a barrier form to keep her in. I work my way at the keyboard and Glimmer looks at me and asks, "What are you doing?!". I sigh and say, "Im helping you escape". Glimmer's eyes widened and asks, "a-are you saving me". I scoff and say, "Not you. Adora. Even if I sent her a message to stay away she wouldnt. She'd come to get you. Thats just how she is". I hear growling and looked behind me to see Prime's clones trying to break into the room.

I growl and gain access to Adora's ship and send her the message, "Adora?". I hear her gasp and she asks, "Catra?!". I grin and say, "You dont sound to happy to hear me. Im sending Glimmer your way". Adora gasps, "Wait! Glimmer is with you?!". I sigh and the Clones start to break in, One of them grabbed onto my arms and I rip them off and punch the clone in the face. I growl and continue working on setting the coordinates to where Adora's ship was. "Listen to me! You need to go to these coordinates and pick up Glimmer. I cant send her to your ship directly, you need to get to those coordinates". More and more clones try to tear me away and from the navigational panel and I growl fighting them off of me.

"No! Catra, whats going on with you?! Whats happening over there?!". I sigh frustrated as I was dragged away from the panel and yell with tears forming in my eyes, "God damn it! Listen to me Adora! Im sorry! For everything!!!", Before I slid my hand up and sent Glimmer to the coordinates I gave Adora. I watched as Glimmer disappear. I growl as im dragged away from the room roughly. I groan as Im dropped on Horde Prime's floor in front of his throne.

I let my head drop before he picks it up with his foot and growls, "The Etherian ship had changed course". I smirk at the anger in his eyes. "You were beloved in my sight sister, and this is how you repay me?!". He barks in my face. I look at him in the eyes and chuckle, "What did you expect?! Us Etherians are so damn emotional right?!". Prime growls and grabs me by the neck and lifted me up in the air, " There is no darkness that my light will not pierce. There is no land that my hand will not reach", My eyes widened as he threw me on the ground. I groan and look up at him and say, " Your plan failed. Glimmer is gone. The Etherian ship has changed course. And you will NEVER get your hands on Adora!". Prime chuckles and says running his claw against my cheek tearing some skin there making me wince, "No no, that is where you are wrong dear sister. Everyone has a place in my empire. And you will be of use of me yet". My eyes widened and I felt my stomach drop as the clones around me chanted, "light casts out the shadows".

Prime chuckles darkly before he grabbed me roughly by the collar of my shirt and tosses me into his clones. I groan as I felt woozy out of a sudden and before I knew it everything was black.
