Glimmer's rescue

Adora's POV:

"No! No no NO!", I yell, tears filling my eyes and I felt warm tears rolling down my cheek as the communication line shut down. I slam my fist on the panel and shudder, "Catra...". I felt hands on my shoulder and sighed, wiping my tears and stood up straight. "Entrapta, do whatever you can to get us to those Coordinates", Bow says, strength and calmness in his tone. I looked at him with a whole new level of respect. He smiles and nods, putting a hand on my shoulder and saying, "We'll get Glimmer Adora. We'll make sure Catra's actions are taken in vain". I sigh and nod.

Bow and I head down to the bottom of the ship, slipping on our space suits and getting in position. Bow opens the door, exposing space to us. I gasped at the beauty of it. The stars. The sun. The planets. The moons. Its all gorgeous. Breathtaking. I hear Bow gasp before he taps my shoulder and says, "Adora! There!". My eyes widen when I see a bunch of green particles in the shape of Glimmer's body appear a couple feet away from us. I tie the rope along Bow's waist and watch as he jumps into the beautiful scene in front of us. I watched as he embraced Glimmer in his arms. I watched as they shared a emotional embrace.

Bow turns to me, and nods. I smile a nod before pulling my bestfriends back into Darla (the spaceship). Once they're back in, Bow and Glimmer bump into me sending us flying into the bunker. I hit the remote and all of are sent to the ground and the door closes keeping us safe. Bow, Glimmer, and I all sigh in relief before Bow and I hold Glimmer to our chests and hug her tight. "Oh god, Im glad you're ok Glimmer. They didnt hurt you right?", Bow asks cupping her cheeks in her hands. I sigh and just hold her close. Glimmer sighs and says, "Im fine. Catra on the other hand, Im no so sure". My eyes widen and I pull back and ask, "What do you mean? What happened back there?".

Glimmer sighs, tears forming in her eyes and she says shakily, "I-I think Catra saved me. Saved us all". My eyes widen and I look at her and say, "Are you sure you're talking about the right Catra?". Glimmer nods and says, "Yep. The annoying, evil, stubborn as hell Catra saved me from Horde Prime". My eyes softened and I ask, "Why though?". Glimmer sighs and says, "she said she wanted to do one good and meaningful thing in her life. A-And she said she did it for you". My eyes widened and I asked shakily, "F-For me?!". Glimmer nods and says, "Yeah, she wanted to get you away from Prime. She knew what would happen if he caught you and she told me herself that she wasnt saving me. She was saving you".

My eyes widen and I sigh, closing my eyes and leaning my head against the bunker door. Fuck me.
