I opened my eyes and looked around, trees and plains on plains of beautiful white prairie flowers in front of me. 'Where am I?', I ask to no one really but myself. I step forward and felt the soil under my feet. Im barefoot? I could've sworn that- OH LORD AM I DEAD?!
I frantically look around, and yelled 'Let me out! Im not dead! I cant be dead! I have a-a pregnant fiance and I-I need-'. My eyes widened when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I growled and whirled around grabbing the person's hand. I looked at the woman feeling a sense of familiarity. Her black wavy hair cascading down her shoulders. Her crystal blue eyes.

I quirked a brow and asked, 'How do you know my name lady?'. The woman in front of me chuckles and says, ' We were going to name you Nozomu... Hope'. I blinked and said, "What are you talking about?! Who are you?!'.
The woman chuckled stepping forward and putting a hand on my shoulder and saying, "You always were a stubborn one. Even as a baby you were feisty. Thats why Kade called you cubby, because you were as feisty as a lion just like your father'. My father?! Kade? Could it be?
I blinked and took in her appearance again before flashes of that soft smile and those blue eyes smiling down at me, singing me to sleep.
'Mom?!', I ask shakily letting go of her hand and looking into her ember eyes with disbelief. I watched as her lips upturned in a bright smile as she nodded. 'Hey bubba', She whispered taking my hands in hers and rubbing her thumb over the knuckles of my hands.
I felt tear stinging my eyes with the nickname she gave me as the memories with her flashed inside my head. I gasped shakily, my vision blurring as I wrapped my arms around her tightly and pulled her close.
'M-Mom.. I-I missed you', I whimpered softly into, nestling my head on the skin between her collar and neck. I felt warm tears fall down my cheeks as she hugged me tighter. 'I missed you too my little lion cub'.

'W-Why now? What changed mom?', I asked as we walked side by side through the plains. Ryuu turned looking at me and saying, ' I watched you for years Catra. You've made me and your father extremely proud. I've missed 15 years of your life my dear. And then I-I had to witness my baby duel her fathers mentor so you can possibly kill your brother. I needed to talk to you. Atleast for a bit. Need to hug you and be there. Even if its in your unconscious state, I needed to see you. I missed you so much. So so much. I love watching you from above, but it kills me knowing I couldnt be by your side'.
I smile and grab her hand gently, squeezing it making her look at me before I whispered, 'I don't know what to do mom'. I let my head drop in embarrassment as I continued feeling suddenly overwhelmed, ' I-I bust my ass every day. E-Every day. And its never enough. H-How the hell am I supposed to fight Kade? H-Hes powerful, maybe even more skillful than Iroh. A-And I cant even win against the Old Man. H-How am I supposed to make things right mom? How am I su-supposed to-'. I broke down into tears, covering my face with my hand as my tears rolled down my cheeks.
