Catra's POV:

I saw the horrifying things that Horde Prime had planned for Adora and quickly got on Melog and raced towards the temple. Although I was far away to not see her I heard Adora's plans and her sobs. As much as it hurt me to leave her I had to. But right now, I need to find her quickly.

My eyes widened when I passed by the spire that Bow was talking about and saw that Bow and the rest were struggling against Prime's army. I halt and get off Melog and crouch in front of him and say, "Melog, get in there and help Bow out". Melog tilts his head and says, "But how will you reach Adora?". I sigh and pet his head and say, "I have an idea, but now you need to go and help Bow". Melog nods and licks my cheek and says, "Stay safe Catra". I nod and stand up before saying, "I always am. Now, go and take care of them". Melog nods and takes off towards the battle happening in front of us.

I narrowed my eyes and ran towards the bunker knowing that Shadow Weaver would be there. I slide inside the bunker and look around wildly looking for Shadow Weaver. "Shadow Weaver! come out now!", I yell frustratedly.

I turn around to find Shadow Weaver standing behind me. I growl and grab onto her shoulders and say, "Get me to Light Hope's temple. I need to get Adora away from the damn Heart". Shadow Weaver scoffs and says, "I cannot. She is far gone by now". I grit my teeth and bark, " Enough! I know you can do more than you let out! Stop being so damn stubborn and get me there". Shadow Weaver sighs and holds onto my shoulder and says tentatively, "Fine". Before gripping my shoulder tightly and mumbling something incoherent and before we knew it we were inside some type of passageway.

I heard a familiar voice calling Adora's name and I let go of Shadow Weaver and ran towards it. My eyes widening when I saw Glimmer, her shoulders shaking. "Glimmer? Glimmer?!", I ask running over to her and holding onto her shoulders and asking, "What happened? Wheres Adora?". Glimmer looks at me and says, "She left me, I dont know where but she left saying she had to continue on her own".

I groan and say, "Fuck, classic Adora. Did you see where she went?". Glimmer nods and says, "Yes, but why are you here?". I sigh and say, "Im here because I promised Adora something  a long time ago, now its time for me to make good on that promise". Glimmer nods and takes me by surprise when she pulled me into a hug and whispers, "Ok, godspeed Catra". I nod and hug her back before saying, "your people need your help". Glimmer nods and pulls back before saying, "Take care of her. Adora went straight and turned right. Im going to go help Bow at the spire". I nod and say, "I will". We exchange a determined look before we part ways.

————————————————————————

I was running when I heard a pained screech that I immediately recognized. Adora! I clenched my jaw and ran faster, sliding slightly when I took a harsh right and was met with an ugly green bug looking creature charging at Adora who was against a wall, holding her side and stumbling on her feet as a bright green ran down her skin along her veins.

I growl and jump off the ledge, taking my claws out and yelling, "Hey bug head! Didn't anyone ever tell you hitting women is for pussies?!". Before digging my claws into the monster's eyes and ripping my claws out, the monsters blue blood splashing on my body as I backflipped  down from the creature's snout and landed on my knee in front of Adora.

"C-Catra?! Y-You cant be here!", Adora yells in shock behind me. I turn to face her and smile softly before saying , "Hey Adora". My attention whirled back to the monster that was still reeling. I noticed Shadow Weaver approaching us through the corner of my eyes and turn to Adora and say, "You go with Shadow Weaver Adora. You go and dont turn back". Before I jump up on a pillar and run across the pillars and find one that was perfectly angled at against the monster and I took the chance and leaped down, kicking the creature in it's snout making it reel back before tripping back and landing on its back with a bewildered roar.

I turn back to see Adora and Shadow Weaver escaping towards the other side of this room that lead to a passageway. I smile and murmur, "Godspeed Princess".
