Mara's Ship (pt 1 of pt 2)

Adora's POV:

"Guys, we have to get up there and do something. Glimmer is probably being TORTURED and how much you wanna bet Catra is definitely in on it", I growl frustratedly, dragging my hands over my face and pacing. "Adora, I agree that we need to get up there but think for a good minute, how the hell are we going to get there?", Bow says with a sigh. I groan and rub the bridge of my nose and look at him and say, "Im not sure! God if Mara wa-". I hear Bow gasp before he shot up from his chair and jumped over the table, and grabbed my shoulders and shook me like a kid would shake his Christmas present.

"Adora you fucking beautiful genius! Thats it! Mara's ship", Bow says excitedly, his eyes wide like a puppy. I raise a brow and ask, "Eh... what about it Bow?". I hear a scoff before a familiar voice behind us says, "Come on Adora, we gotta fix Mara's ship and up up away. Duh dummy". I turn around to be met with Mermista with a hand on her hip. I look at her incredulously and go to say something when Bow practically jumped up and yelled, "THERE YOU GOOO! We need to get Mara's ship, fix it and find out where the hell Prime's ship is and rescue Glimmer". I look at them with wide eyes and tap my chin and say, "Shit, you're both right. We got this!".

We all hug each other and make our way out of the tent of our campsite when I see Double Trouble standing outside the tent. I narrow my eyes and ask, "What do you want? Why are you here?". Double Trouble smiles and says, "I have info on our Sparkly Queen and our Kitten". My eyes widen and I grab Bow and Mermista by the arms and yank them by my sides and say desperately , "Tell us now!". Double Trouble smirks and says, "My services always come with a price Princess of Power". I roll my eyes and dig into my pocket, pulling out a bag of golden coins. They smile and nod before saying, "Glimmer is being held prisoner on Prime's ship. Catra is keeping her company. Even though she is not a prisoner. I have a feeling shes coming up with something to help them both escape". I growl and say, "Catra will only put her in danger. All she wants to do is take us down".

Double Trouble's eyes flashed with rage for a bit and they hissed, grabbing me by the collar of my shirt and lifting me off my feet so I was eye to eye to the shapeshifter as they said lowly, "Listen to me Adora..  and listen closely darling. Catra has done alot of bad things. Said alot of bad things. Betrayed you  and her friends a ton of times. But I was there when Glimmer and Catra fought. Catra protected Glimmer from the falling metal panels. She even jumped over Glimmer when a panel was about to crush her. A HUNDRED pound panel was on her back to save your bestfriend. She even let herself get burned and covered in soot and ash to keep Glimmer safe from the falling ember and debris from the explosion GLIMMER made. Glimmer blew up her safe place. Her home. Your home. And she still protected her. You should be thanking her instead of getting an attitude with her  actions and being petty. Glimmer couldve been left to die in the control panel but Catra jumped through the smoke and carried her out and got all the horde soldiers, guards, kids, and families out of there before it blew up. There were no fatalities because of Catra. Let that sink in darling. She even fucking went back to get the girl that tortured her for weeks and stabbed you. So yeah maybe she broke your heart. But she did it to protect you from her. Trust me, As someone who got to act as her to get under your skin I got to get into her heart and mind... metaphorically and literally. Catra has a plan, and I wont be surprised if its something self-less". I was left speechless by Double Trouble's words and blinked when she set me down gently on the floor. I let my head drop down and focused my attention on the hem of my shirt.

"Now, Archer kid, Mermaid girl, and Adora get the dork princess and go rescue Sparkles and Kitty", Double Trouble says slicking their hair back and dusting off his shoulders. I look up at Bow and nod and say, "Go get Entrapta Bow, I need to talk to Double Trouble privately". Bow nods and takes Mermista with him. I look at Double Trouble and gesture for them to take me to my private tent. They sit down, crossing their legs and looking at me with a smile. I sigh and sit down in front of them and ask nervously, "How do you know its true?". Double Trouble chuckles and says, "Because I have it in here", They pause and point to their head and says, "And I can show you it if you'd like". My eyes widen and I gasp, "How?!".
