*From now on if there isnt a POV at the top it is in 3rd person POV... anyways enjoy the chapter lovelies*
Catra is slammed into the ground by the wild beast. "Fuck!", Catra groans into the jade floor of Light Hope's temple. She holds onto her side before she was dragged across the floor leaving claw marks in the jade before she was flung up in the air by the ghastly tentacled beast, a lethal grip on the feline's leg.
Catra growled and struggled against its grasp as she inched closer and closer to its mouth. She closed her eyes, ready to accept her fate before she came in contact with the cold jade floor once again, knocking the wind out of her. She heard the beast's roar behind her before she opened her eyes again.
"Shadow Weaver?!", Catra gasps as she sees the woman that had caused only pain and sorrow in her life sending blasts of magic into the face of the beast that was inching towards her demise. The fierce feline was sent flying into the passage way that Shadow Weaver and Adora had walked through.
She blinked and stood up shakily, walking towards the entrance of the passageway determined to walk into the battlefield once more only to be blocked off. Catra's eyes widened and Shadow Weaver held her ground against the beast, conjuring a ball of pure energy before she turned to face her old pupil.
"You must go Catra. You must get Adora to the heart safely", Shadow Weaver says loud enough for Catra to hear. Catra banged against the forcefield that Shadow Weaver had used to trap her inside and yelled shakily, "What are you doing?! It'll kill you!". Shadow Weaver puts a hand on her mask, taking it off and looking at her pupil, a smile played across her lips. Catra banged helplessly against the forcefield bringing her fist up shakily before a hand slipped itself inside hers, halting her. Catra's eyes widened as she heard her name spoken out shakily.
"Catra?".
Catra turns around to be met with a limping Adora, her face and veins were completely green. Catra looks at Shadow Weaver and she nods and only mouths the following words: 'Im so proud of you both. Take care of each other'. Warm tears falling from both girl's eyes as they watch the same woman that brought them in perish in front of their eyes in an explosion of blinding light that killed the sorcerer behind it and the beast sent to kill their savior.
"No...", Adora whimpers as she falls on her knees, her shaky hand covering her mouth. Catra holds back her tears, keeping a brave face and gently picks Adora up, wrapping her arm around her shoulders and holding Adora close to her by wrapping an arm around her hip. "Come on Adora, we gotta get you to the Heart", Catra says through clenched teeth as the venom injected into her leg from the beast was enough to take down a First-One. Adora nods weakily as Catra pulled forth and walked both of them through the passageway only lit up by crystals.

"In here Catra, in here", Adora says weakily and Catra only nods turning into the room that Adora told her to enter. They walk down the path that led to a platform that was surrounded by crystals and pulsing green veins surrounding the room and the main reason they were there: The Heart of Etheria.
Adora unwraps herself from Catra, almost falling before Catra held her up and said, "Woah woah woah, should you really be doing this Adora? You're in a fragile state". Adora sighs and holds onto Catra's shoulder finding some composure and standing up by herself and limping over to the middle of the platform and turning to Catra.
"I-I have to do this Catra. You need to get as far away as possible. You cant be here when I do this".
"Adora whats going to happen to you?".
"Catra get far away from here ok?".
"Adora! Whats happening? What'll happen to you?".
"Catra, The magic from the Heart is alot for me in this state it could be fatal".
