Catra's POV:

I was standing in the white room again. I groan and say, 'Kaen just come out alright? Enough with the theatrics'. Kaen chuckles and walks out from god knows where.

'Alright, alright no need to be so aggressive Catrina'. I roll my eyes and say, 'Its Catra not Catrina alright? Now tell me what you need? I was particularly enjoying my sleep before you decided to rudely interrupt it'. Kaen sighs and says, ' Apologies Catra but this is very important'.

I run a hand through my hair and cross my arms over my chest and say impatiently, 'Alrighty out with it then!'. Kaen growls and says, 'Careful with that tone Catra. Do not forget that I am over a thousand years older than you. You need me as much as I need you. Now listen to me, for these are the words of the prophecy'. I blink waiting for him to continue before realizing he wanted my permission to continue.

I sigh and gesture for him to continue. He nods and says, ' you and your lover and her acquaintances have already learned about my history and about Kazari's history. Now it is time for you to start your training before Kade comes and challenges you to a seirei kai before you're ready. I know about your worries. Your troubles. And your frustrations. For I have once gone through them and your father and those before you have aswell. But they persevered and carried out their duty. You have already unlocked one key component of awakening your chakra: channeling your physical energy. But now, it is time for you to channel your spiritual energy'.

I nod and say desperate for answers, 'Yeah but how am I supposed to channel that? Meditating? Or what, please how do I get in contact with you if its not in my dreams?'. Kaen puts a hand on my shoulder and says, 'I am afraid that I cannot answer that question for you, for it is a question that you must answer for yourself'. I scoff and say, 'Then whats the point of you guiding me? If you cant answer my questions?'. Kaen puts a finger on my forehead and pointed at my heart.

'Because it was a curse that went along with my soul being carried into a royal heir. I can only guide you on how to fight and how to regulate your chakra. I cannot help you on how you find your way there. Although I will offer you this wisdom Catra, Life happens wherever you are, whether you make it or not. You are too prideful to recognize when you need help. You were exactly like your father when he was faced with this same problem. Always thinking you need to do things on your own without anyone's support. There is nothing wrong with letting the people who love you help you. The true mind can weather all lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can touch the poison of hatred without being harmed. From beginningless time, darkness thrives in the void, but always yields to purifying light. Its time for you to look inward and start asking yourself the big question: who are you? what do you want? what do you want to accomplish in your lifetime? and what do want to be your legacy once you leave this world? You feel hopeless now but you are the only one that can give yourself hope. That is the true meaning of inner- strength. You must never give into despair. Allow yourself to slip down that road, and you surrender to your lowest instincts. Destiny is an intriguing thing. You never know how things are going to work out. But if you keep an open mind and an open heart, I promise you will find your own destiny. And once you do.. I will be there to guide you".

I let my head drop before I the weight of Kaen's hand on my shoulder became lighter and lighter. I look up and see that Kaen was fading away. 'Wait! Please dont leave me!', I yell as his body faded away only showing his face. Before I saw a familiar smile, the last smile my father had before he had been murdered by my brother.

'Stay strong my daughter. Look within yourself. And do not let up when things get tough. You are smart. You will get through this rough patch and figure out what you must do', My father's voice echoed as he faded away.

The room grew dark and then-

I woke up with a gasp, before I heard familiar snoring and smiled looking up at the girl of my dreams. I look outside seeing that it was still dark. Its still nighttime. I look back at the angel in front of me, watching as she moved to her side, sleeping soundly. There is nothing wrong with letting the people who love you help you. Kaen's words rung through my head on repeat and I could only watch the sleeping girl with a smile before nodding to myself. I understand now that I need the help of those who I love.

I lean forward, wrapping my arm around her waist and pressing a kiss to her cheek before whispering, "I dont know what I would do if I didnt have you in my life Adora. I'll put my pride aside and accept your help. Yours and Bow's  and Glimmer's help.  I understand that now my love". I nestled my face against her nape and sighed. I'll be better. I'll be wiser and stronger. I will complete my duty. I will avenge you father and mother. I promise.
