Adora, Bow and Glimmer watched in awe as Iroh and Catra sparred. Their movements were fast and controlled. Catra had learned much from Iroh but she still had the same weaknesses. Adora flinched and protectively putting her hand on her a little more prominent belly bump each time that Catra brutally lost to Iroh.
"Catra! Awaken your Magenyousa, we've gone over this all week. Now, again.", Iroh scolded as he kneed the feline in the chest. Catra fell onto her knees, holding her bruised chest and coughing. Adora growled and stood up going to show Iroh a piece of her mind before Bow grabbed her hand gently.
Adora looked at Bow and scoffed, "Why? Why do you hold me back?". Bow sighed and said, "Trust me, I dont like seeing Catra get beat around either but its the only way she can learn". Adora sighed and nodded knowing that he had a point she didnt like watching her fiancée get the living shit beat out of her.
They watched as Catra got up, her determination unfazed as she cracked her knuckles and looked at Adora, winking at her before turning to face Iroh again. Adora felt her cheeks heat up and Bow and Glimmer both looked at her and started 'Ooh'ing' her poking the girl's red cheeks.
Adora smacked their fingers away and scolded them like the mommy she is, "Shh! And watch the fight you idiots". Glimmer chuckled and said, "Alright momma, calm your tits". Adora rolled her eyes at Glimmer's remarks and focused on the scene in front of her.
Catra instead of attacking Iroh, decided to do something that surprised her mentor. She sat down on the water's surface, crossing her legs over each other and getting into a meditation pose. Iroh chuckled at the feline's antics and watched as the girl controlled her breathing.
"What is she doing?! Hes going to beat her ass!", Bow cries running her hands exasperatedly down his face. "SH!", Adora and Glimmer both scold the boy slapping him upside the head.
"Ow! Why the-"
"I love you Bow, but shut that pretty mouth of yours and look at what my fiancée is doing"
"Awh I love you too Adora"
"Ugh, babe just shut up"
"You're just jelly my dear"
Adora and Glimmer looked at Bow will chilling glares. The boy immediately sat up straight and watched the fight again. Adora and Glimmer gave each other a high-five before Glimmer laid her head on Adora's shoulder and watched aswell.
Catra felt a familar jolt of energy course through her body and shot into her eyes. Iroh nodded proudly and said, "Great job Catra you've tapped into your Genkai's chakra, but have you tapped into your Magenyousa?". Catra chuckled and stood up, her hair covering her eyes as she rolled her shoulders and cracked her neck.
"I dont know old man.. why dont we see", Catra yells as she ran sprinting across the water's surface swiftly jumping up and turning her body around in an 180° angle and throws a dangerous punch as the wind moved her hair out of the way, revealing her eyes to her mentor.
