Ch.73 - Change

Kya POV:

It had been a long couple of months but I felt like everything was starting to go smoothly. I decided to stay down here and I haven't been back to Bakersfield. We stayed in the hotel for a week before they let my mother go back to her house and we stayed there.

The guys switched between being down here with me and staying in Bakersfield. I was able to get a week off and even after explaining everything to my boss he still got an attitude with me about how we had a lot that needed to be done and he didn'tneed me disappearing.

He told me that if I wasn't back by the end of the week to not bother coming back, before hanging up. It pissed me off that after everything I had done he wouldn't even give me time off to help my mother get better.

So now I was out of a job and need to add looking for one on my list of things to do.

The first month was a bit much, my mom's chemo made her really weak so she could barely get out of bed, but she still refused to admit that she couldn't.

Taehyung had his classes starting so he couldn't be down here as much as he wanted to, but I was able to understand, it still made him upset. Jungkook, Jimin, Namjoon, Jin, and Hobi all had work and I didn't want them to risk losing their jobs.

But they come down here on their off days.

I came back for there birthdays, they were the only days that I had breaks, but one those days Gloria would come over and watch over my mother but she couldn't do many of the things I did for her.

First was Jungkook and then Namjoon, I had gotten both these watches that came in two different colors, they weren't big and bulky but they weren't small, it was perfect they both loved them.

Namjoon made a comment about how he wanted something a little warmer for his present and to put it in a nice way, my legs were sore and I had to stay down here for an extra day.

The months to follow my mom started to get a little better, I had her eating organic foods and taking all her medicine.

She still wasn't close too one hundred percent but I know she's try, I even have her going to yoga classes as lifting small weights.

We do it together and it's honestly helped take away from my curves and the guys noticed two and insisted on feeding me more when they came down.

I thought being away from them would put a strain on our relationship but if anything it made us stronger.

I knew that not being there as much as I usually am was a change. But they were handling it pretty well and I was really thankful for it.

Watching as the leaves fall off the tree and the temperatures change from hot to cold.

Which meant Jimin's birthday was coming next, I got him some of his favorite shirts he likes to dance in along with a bucket hat. We even went to the mall for a little alone time, he convinced me to pick a lingerie set and I chose a lime green on that cause Jimin to hold his hands in front of his jeans for the rest of the trip.

I insisted on trying it on and that lead to us have a quicky in the dressing room.

Halloween came and went, my mom made me go home for the night and we had decided to drink and the guys let me do there makeup

After that, it was back to the hospital.

The guys thought it would be a good time to die their hair.

I came back with some snacks from the local gas station to see my mom helping them dye their hair.

It was a chestnut brown and it honestly made them look so handsome.
