This exists because Pinterest made me *looks pointedly at people who made me link them this*. There will be a full fic, but be patient, my friends. Let me come up with a substantial plot first. It's kinda short, but it's basically the prologue for the future fic, so does it really matter?

Loki and Dr. Strange followed Hawkeye and Black Widow to a room. Barton sighed, opening the door to allow the magicians to enter.

Loki looked down to see a young woman. She was around twenty years old, at the very most, but likely closer to seventeen or eighteen. She had medium-length brown curls and was wearing nothing but a t-shirt and underwear. Her pillow was on the ground, and her foot was tangled in the sheets, implicating that she had fallen out of bed. But that wasn't the most noticeable thing about her.

No, the most noticeable thing was the red light dancing around her. Her eyes glowed crimson. Her hand was clutched to her chest, scarlet magic escaping through her fingers. She looked terrified.

Loki walked over to her. He felt everyone's eyes stayed lock on him worriedly. But he wasn't indecent! He had style! He wouldn't attack this girl for no reason while she was defenseless! "So," He said. "This is the child they call the Scarlet Witch." He knelt beside her, smirking.

Her hand lowered slightly. She met eyes with him and he could easily sense the fear, the panic inside of her. He knew the feeling. He reached out, cradling the side of her face, sending some calming magic into her. The glow in her eyes started to fade, followed by the lights around her.

Her eyes rolled up into her head, and she went limp. Loki caught her, lifting her onto the bed.

"Don't worry," He heard the wizard say. "It's just magical exhaustion. She tired herself out. She'll be fine by morning."

"You're sure?" The Black Widow asked.

"Completely."

"Is this... is this normal?" Barton asked.

"Semi, yes." Loki didn't look away from the teen as he spoke. "Magic isn't the easiest thing to control, especially when you're young. Not having it your entire makes it a bit harder, I would assume."

"How do you think you should train her?" Hawkeye asked. He seemed nervous. Didn't take much for Loki to realize that the girl was probably very close to him.

"I would take her to the seminary, but I don't think that would be a great idea. She's very anxious around people, you said?" Dr. Strange asked.

Black Widow nodded in confirmation. "Yeah, she's not exactly a people person."

"Then it's probably a better idea to train her someplace quiet. Away from civilization, if you will. Just so she can feel comfortable to use her powers to their full extent. She can't really figure out her powers if she doesn't know the limit."

Romanoff nodded, but Barton looked skeptical. "You want us to send out teenage girl alone, away from people with a couple of men, one we barely know and one we know not to trust? Sounds stupid."

"I beg your pardon?" Loki was offended. "Are you saying that you think I would assault her? I have STANDARDS. I'd never rape someone, let alone a child. That's disgusting!"

"Nothing bad will happen to her," Dr. Strange assured the nervous papa bird. "She needs a place where she can relax. And if you want, you can always call her and make sure that she's ok."

"I think it sounds like a good idea," Romanoff said. "She needs help Clint, and we can't give it to her like they can. We have to trust them."

"I'm sorry if I don't trust the guy who mind controlled me."

"Wanda tried to mind control you."

"Uh, well, umm... that doesn't count!"

Natasha rolled her eyes. "I'll have a Fury set something up. You should be good to go by tomorrow afternoon."

"But... uh, uh... what if Wanda doesn't want to go?!" Clint tried again.

"It's what's best for her, Barton. Let your baby bird fly out of the nest and explore. If she needs a little push, she needs a little push. We'll give her that nudge if necessary. She needs this."

Hawkeye sighed. "I guess. But don't hurt her or I'll take you out."

"That goes without saying." Loki shrugged.

"Seriously though, you better train her well," Black Widow said coldly. "And take care of her. If you don't, I know a thousand different ways to kill you in a way that no one will ever suspect it wasn't natural."

"Understandable," Dr. Strange said. He looked over at Loki. "You and I had better come up with a plan."
