I've been working on this one for a while and scrambled to finish it tonight so I could update SOMETHING. Sorry if the last few paragraphs weren't satisfactory!

"So, Wanda, we're sticking to our tradition of annual trips to the Independence Day fireworks show. Do you wanna come?"

Wanda stiffened. "No, Nat, sorry. Fireworks aren't my thing."

"Why not?"

"The noise, it triggers my PTSD. The last time there were fireworks in Sokovia, Pietro and I had to hide under the covers and cover our ears with our pillows."

"Yikes."

"Yeah."

"Wait, so, if you had headphones or something that got rid of the noise, you'd be ok?"

"I would think so."

"I will get Tony on that."

"It's not that big of a deal."

"Yes, it is. The Avengers always go to the fireworks show. Even Thor is coming back on world specifically for this. Clint is bringing his family. It would be sad if you didn't come. And don't you want to meet your brother's namesake?"

"Of course I do."

"Well, then, it's a plan. I'll ask Tony to get on it." She left the room, heading for Tony's workshop.

When she got there, she knocked on the desk, getting his attention. "What, Nat?"

"The fireworks show tonight. Wanda said she wasn't coming. I asked why, and she said it was a trigger for her PTSD. I thought maybe you could whip up some headphones or something that will completely cancel out the noise."

"Of course I could. It wouldn't be hard, either, since I have noise canceling tech already. But I wouldn't go with headphones, too bulky. I'd say earbuds, but those might fall out easily. I'm thinking something more like a hearing aid, but obviously does the exact opposite of a hearing aid." He pulled up a blueprint on his computer with a few keystrokes. "I'll get right on it. Shouldn't take very long."

"Thanks, Tony."

"No prob." Nat left, and Tony rigged up his 3D printer with plastic, to make the actual earpiece. He let the printer do its thing while he found some rubber to put on it as a cover. He found some that would perfectly. Even better, it was red. He grabbed the noise canceling chips, inserting them inside the rubber covering. He put the covers over the now finished earpieces. "Done."

Pepper walked in. "What are you working on now?"

"Just finished some noise canceling earphones for Wanda. Do me a favor and turn that saw on so I can hear how affective they actually are. I'll nod when you can cut it off."

Pepper nodded, turning on the saw as requested. Tony put in the plugs, nodding when he couldn't hear anything after a minute."

"Fireworks are louder than that, but these should still work nicely. Thanks, Pep." He wiped them off. He got up, the devices in his hand, heading upstairs to the rooms. He knocked on her door.

"Come in!"

Tony opened the door, entering the room. "Hey, kid. I brought you these." He handed his work to her. "I hope you like them, if not, then too bad."

Wanda grinned. "Thank you, Tony."

"No problem." He strode out of the room.

Wanda turned the noise canceling earbuds in her hands. They looked pretty cool. She put them on, and they were more comfortable than she was expecting. She took them back out, setting them on the bedside table.

She turned on the tv, flipping through the channels. She finally found one show that seemed interesting, Full House. She loved it, but was weirded out by how the twin actresses who played the character Michelle looked similar to her. Especially when she was younger. Not exactly, but close enough for it to be weird.

She got up a couple hours later when Nat was calling them to leave. She grinned at Clint as he and his family met them outside.

Clint squeezed Wanda's shoulder and gave her a hug. "It's nice to see ya, kiddo."

"You too, Clint." She walked a little ways off, sitting on a rock about ten yards away from the others.

Clint smiled as he watched his kids run around, chasing after fireflies. Suddenly, there was a 'pop!' and everyone jerked their heads up to see the shining colors. Wanda had probably only noticed because Lila and Cooper were in front of her and were looking that way. They starting shrieking with laughter, pointing.

He was more than happy as Steve handed him a cheeseburger. He accepted it with a thanks.

Steve handed Wanda her hamburger and she thanked him. He walked over to where Sam was sitting near Tony and Rhodey. He joined them happily, eating his hotdog, watching the colorful explosions. "How do you like the fireworks?" He asked Sam.

"They're neat, same as every year. I never get tired of them." Sam climbed to his feet, throwing his napkin in the trash bag nearby. It was actually enjoyable to be spending time with the entire team. Well, almost the entire team. He noticed Rhodey looking at Wanda, who was still sitting alone.

Rhodey nudged Vision. "Hey, Vis, your future girlfriend is sitting alone over there. You might want to bring her over here." He did love to annoy people, and Wanda did look a little lonely. Why not use Vision's obvious crush on her to get her with the rest of the Avengers?

Of robots could roll their eyes, Rhodey was sure Vision would. "Alright, I will go get her."

Vision walked over and tapped Wanda's shoulder. She looked up at him. He gestured to the rest of the group. She looked hesitant to join him, but let him lead her over anyway.

She sat down next to him, and they all watched the fireworks together as a team. As the Avengers.
