So I have nothing much to say today, so instead I'm going to tell y'all a recent story. It's incredibly stupid/funny so um... yeah.
Because of quarantine and stuff, my friends and I have been doing a zoom call once a week, and conversation ranges from DC memories, memes, traumatic middle school memories, vines, and fun things going on in our lives. Somehow, about three weeks ago, when it was just me and three other of my friends, the conversation landed on an old Sonic meme: Coldsteel the Hedgeheg. (Look it up and then come back if you have no idea what it is, I can't begin to describe this.)
Now. One thing I have to make clear before I continue: I have the barest idea about Sonic and that whole thing. I know basically nothing. HOWEVER, even I know what a Mary Sue self-insert OC is and how stupid it is.
So we're laughing over it, when (let's call her Glare) Glare gets the brilliant idea. "Is there Coldsteel fanfiction?"

So, because we're having way too much fun laughing over this, (let's call her Alex) Alex reads the first chapter to us.

It is terrible. It's sexist, racist, homophobic, and don't get me started on the over use of the thesaurus.
And we're dying from laughter over this.
We being an aro ace learning Japanese, a pan Queen, a lesbian Jesus (her current nickname), and an ace who needs to remember to tell them that she's also a demi girl.
Anyways, after the zoom call, the next day, Glare texts us (the other three including myself) and says what basically amounts to, "okay losers there's a second chapter and then it ends without a proper ending, we're writing purposefully bad fanfic to finish it."
And the rest of us agree.
So Glare wrote the third chapter. And she read it to us over zoom. Let's just say there was a lesbian hedgehog ghost and a demon thing.
And early today, Alex read to us her fourth chapter. Let's just say, the originally going to be slutty girl is now a bisexual girl who is in love with the ghost, who is basically a god.

If you guessed me you're right.
Me, who will do absolutely no research or even attempt to understand the universe this exists in, am writing a terrible fifth chapter to crappy Coldsteel the Hedgeheg fanfic. Will there be constantly switching povs and tenses? You better believe it.
I don't know why I felt like telling y'all, it's just really funny because as a writer you're always trying to do your best but for this I'm actively trying to be bad and it's really funny.
