It had been a few days since Sophia had reunited with her brothers and she was the happiest she ever had been. She didn't have to fear her father anymore and knowing that Stefan had in fact killed him made her even happier. He deserved a painful death. Sophia had been introduced to all of Elena's friends and they all got along well. She was given a necklace with vervain inside by Damon so she would be safe around vampires. All of Elena's girl friends had taken her to get her hair and nails done. She felt like a new woman and she wasn't complaining. Everything was going well, that was until Sophia joined her brothers and Elena, who looked gravely concerned.

"What's going on?" Sophia asked.

"One of the oldest vampires, Klaus, wants to kill Elena." Damon said.

"What? Why?" Sophia asked in shock.

"She's a doppelganger and he wants to break a curse." Stefan said. "For that to happen, Elena has to die."

"Oh my god. What are you going to do?" She asked.

"Right now, we have no idea." Elena said.

Damon growled and walked away. He was clearly upset. Sophia went after her twin to see if he was okay.

"D, you okay?" She asked.

"I can't let Elena die. There has to be a way to stop Klaus." Damon said.

Sophia knew what was going on. It was very obvious. "You like Elena, don't you?"

Damon's eyes widened in shock as he looked at his twin sister. "No...no I do not. Stefan is dating her."

"Just because she's dating Stefan, doesn't mean you don't have feelings for her." She said, making him sigh. "I'm your twin. I know exactly what you feel."

"It's just....it's complicated. I feel like I'm betraying Stefan. It's like Katherine all over again." Damon said, making her laugh. She remembered the whole Katherine drama. They were both in love with her and she couldn't pick who she loved. Sophia and Katherine were best friends back in the day. She wondered if Katherine was still around since she was a vampire.

"Everything will fall into place, D. Just give it time." Sophia said, placing her hand on his shoulder.

𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙼𝚢𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚌 𝙶𝚛𝚒𝚕𝚕

Sophia was at the grill with Damon and Alaric. Damon was saying how he messed up by feeding Elena his blood. For this ritual to be complete, Klaus had to drain Elena's blood until she died. Damon didn't want that and fed her his blood so at least she would come back as a vampire. Elena however, like Sophia, did not want to be a vampire so she was very upset with him.

"Damon, Elena will forgive you. You had her best interest at heart." Sophia said.

"I still screwed up." Damon sighed, drinking his bourbon.

"Yeah, yeah you did." Alaric said.

"Gentlemen." The three heard as they saw a man approach them and stand by Damon's side.

"Whoa." Sophia said under her breath. This guy was hot. And when she said hot she meant hot.

"Why so glum?" The man asked. His accent was very thick and it only made the guy hotter. He wore a red shirt with a black jacket. He had dirty blonde hair and light blue eyes. He also had blonde stubble on his face. Sophia couldn't help but admit that this man was straight up gorgeous. Damon turned around and groaned as the man looked at him.

"Klaus, I presume." He groaned.

"In the flesh." The man now known as Klaus said.

Sophia mentally face palmed herself. Of course she found the bad guy attractive. This guy wants to kill Elena and here she was thinking about how hot he was. She was an idiot. She couldn't help but feel her face heat up in embarrassment.

"Thanks for the loaner mate." Klaus said to Alaric who only rolled his eyes as Damon stood up, trying to cover his twin sister from Klaus' view.

"Is there any reason you stopped by to say hi?" Damon asked, practically glaring at Klaus.

Klaus could hear a heart beating rapidly and looked to see a young woman sitting next to Damon. He smirked when she looked up at him. He then heard her heart beat even faster, making him smirk even more. Sophia mentally cursed herself for feeling like she was so attracted to this man.

"I'm told you and your brother fancy my doppelganger." Klaus said.

Sophia let out a small snigger, making all three men look at her. What? They did both fancy Elena. Klaus simply smirked as Damon glared at her. "Sorry." She said, looking down to hide her blushing face.

"I just thought I'd remind you not to do anything you'd regret." Klaus continued.

Damon let out a small sarcastic laugh. "Thanks for the advice. I don't suppose I could talk you into a postponement by any chance, huh?" Damon said, making Sophia shake her head as she smiled. Yep, her brother was still the same. Sarcastic and snarky.

"You are kidding? He is kidding, right?" Klaus asked both Alaric and Sophia.

"No, no he's not really." Alaric said. Klaus then looked at Sophia who simply shook her head.

"Oh come on, what's one month in the whole grand scheme of things?" Damon said.

"Let me be clear." Klaus said, now standing face to face with Damon. Sophia felt as if his eyes could look into her soul if they wanted. She literally couldn't get over how he pretty much looked like a Greek god. "I have my vampire. I have my werewolf. I have everything I need. The ritual will happen tonight. So, if you want to live to see tomorrow, don't screw it up."

Sophia let out another laugh, making all three men look at her again. "Sophia." Damon whined.

"I'm sorry but he's so gonna screw it up." Sophia said, making Damon roll his eyes. Klaus just looked at her. She was...interesting. She didn't seem scared. In fact, she seemed the opposite and that intrigued him.

"Well, just to make sure you don't try anything, I'll be taking a little incentive." Klaus said before quickly grabbing Sophia and using his vampire speed to get away.
