It was the next day and Klaus and Sophia were at the Salvatore Boarding House, waiting for Stefan to return home. Klaus sent his hybrids out of town after Stefan had killed Mindy and Klaus didn't want to risk any more of his precious hybrids being murdered. Stefan had also threatened to kill Elena and that couldn't happen because without Elena's blood, Klaus couldn't make any hybrids.
"Babe, please be nice to him. I know he's pushing it but he's still my brother." Sophia said, rubbing his hand.
"He's lucky he's your brother or he would have a tombstone with his name on it at the graveyard right now." Klaus said.
Sophia shook her head but leaned in and kissed him softly. She needed to keep him in a good mood so there was less of a chance of a fight breaking out and she knew her kisses worked very well on him. Just as they pulled away, Stefan walked in and noticed the couple waiting for him on the sofa.
"Klaus, Sophia. What are you doing here?" Stefan asked.
"Enjoying our stale mate." Klaus said.
"What do you want?" He asked.
"The question is, what do you want? My hybrids left town as you demanded so please tell me what I need to do to get my family back." Klaus said. Again, he was starting to get worked up so Sophia drew circles on his hand with her thumb to calm him down.
"Well, you see. I'm not negotiating." Stefan said.
"Stefan?! He did everything you asked. Why are you being such an ass?" Sophia asked.
"I'm simply doing what he did to me." Stefan told her.
"Well, you see holding them indefinitely is the same as dropping them in the ocean." Klaus said.
"No, no. You break up with my sister, leave Mystic Falls and then give me a call in a few years and we'll talk." Stefan said.
"Stefan?! What the hell?" Sophia exclaimed. Now she was getting frustrated. There was only so much she could take.
"I'm gonna give you another chance. Just one more. Let's make a reasonable deal." Klaus said.
"Or what?" Stefan asked. "You make one move and I'll-"
"Yes. Crazy Stefan. How's that working out for you? Any friends left? Any siblings left?" Klaus smirked, making Stefan glare at him.
