It had been a few days since prank night and a lot had went down in the last few days. Klaus had left town to make hybrids and left Sophia and Stefan in Mystic Falls. Sophia didn't know what happened to Rebekah though. Maybe she went with Klaus. Damon and Stefan now knew about Sophia's relationship with Klaus thanks to Elena telling them. At first, Damon was mortified but after much convincing, he decided to tolerate it because Sophia was his sister and he wanted to see her happy. Stefan didn't really care much because he had his humanity off thanks to Klaus and that was just great. Sophia had also been joining Elena and Alaric with training so they knew how to defend themselves against vampires. Since Sophia had already been trained by Klaus before, she was catching on a whole lot better than Elena.

"How are you doing that?" Elena asked as Sophia managed to toss Alaric to the ground.

"Klaus used to train me when we were on the road." Sophia shrugged before helping Alaric up.

"Are you sure Klaus didn't compel you to be with him or something?" Alaric asked to which Sophia chuckled.

"Yes I'm sure. I don't know how it happened but it did. Overtime, the unexpected happened and we fell for each other. And anyways, I had my necklace on the entire time." Sophia explained.

"Anyways, enough about your love lives. Let's get back to training." Alaric said. He went over to a dummy and punched it as two stakes shot out. "So, the pressure of your punch ejects the stakes."

"Easy enough." Elena said, punching the dummy but nothing happened. She tried again but still nothing happened. "It must be jammed or something."

"You're not strong enough." Alaric said.

"Let me try." Sophia said. She walked over to the dummy and punched it as hard as she could, seeing the stakes pierce into it, making her smile in victory.

"How?" Elena asked.

"Courtesy of Klaus." Sophia said, doing a little bow before laughing.

"Now we may hate the guy but he seems to be a damn good teacher." Alaric said. "As for Elena, let's start by lifting some weights. Get some meat on your bones."

"Thanks for not sugar coating it." Elena said, making Sophia laugh and wrap her arm in Elena's as they walked with Alaric.

"Do you know what this is?" Alaric said, holding up something small and black.

"A vervain grenade. I've used one before." Elena said.

"Then you know that the element of surprise is your only advantage when it comes to a vampire." Alaric said. He triggered it and tossed it to Elena who gasped. "Surprise."
