Rebekah and Sophia walked into one of the living rooms and saw Klaus and Elijah sitting and reading whilst a body of a woman drained of blood casually sat on the coffee table. Sophia couldn't help but laugh slightly. She could never just sit there and read whilst a body lay rotting in front of her.

"So, this is what you do the first time we're back together as a family? Vampire book club?" Rebekah asked, making Sophia let out another laugh.

"Reading edifies the mind, sister. Isn't that right, Elijah?" Klaus asked.

"Yes. That's quite right, Niklaus." Elijah said.

"You two are jokers. I swear, I love you both more and more everyday." Sophia chuckled.

"No Soph. My brothers are idiots. What's this business?" Rebekah asked, pointing to the body on the table.

"This is a peace offering." Elijah said.

"I presumed after all this time desiccating in a coffin that my big brother might be peckish." Klaus said.

"How generous and saint-like of you, babe." Sophia said sarcastically, making him smile in amusement.

"He is far from saint-like, my dear sister in law. I explained to him that forgiveness cannot be bought. I'd simply prefer to see a change in behaviour that indicates contrition and personal growth, not this nonsense." Elijah said, pointing to the body. Sophia was really loving the Klaus-Elijah duo. They reminded her of her own brothers who she missed dearly. She spoke with Damon almost everyday and Stefan was still out of town and unreachable.

"I couldn't very well let her go to waste, could I?" Klaus asked.

"Well, I suppose I'll fetch the rubbish bin because she's staining a two hundred year old carpet." Rebekah said before leaving and Sophia and Elijah looked to see blood dripping off the table and onto the carpet below.

"I'm getting some breakfast." Sophia said as she walked into the kitchen with her hand on her slightly swollen bump, making the two Mikaelson brothers follow her. She went over to the refrigerator and opened it, looking around. Rebekah then walked into the kitchen.

"Hey, so I know that I'm the only one that drinks milk in this house but would it kill you to put it on the grocery list?" Sophia said.

"Speaking of, add bleach." Rebekah said before leaving the kitchen.
