this is just random realizations, theories, ocs, one-shots, short stories, funny pictures, and anything else i think of related to the epic, awesome series, Wings Of Fire by Mrs. Tui T. Sutherland.
Let me start off by saying that picking the winner of this contest was the most difficult decision of my career, and that my top secret panel of judges were indecisive and of no help which is likely why this took so long, but it was also because ALL OF THE ENTRIES WERE SO INCREDIBLY AMAZING LIKE WOW!
I was not expecting A) the sheer number of entires and B) how epic they would be. Then again I should've known better than to underestimate artists, especially fanartists.
That being said, there can only be one winner, but since the contest was so close I have to show off the top 5 because- Well you'll see when you look at the pictures like WOW.
I am planning to encorporate every entry from the contest into the published version, but only the winner will be on the cover, so not all is lost if you didn't win.
And if you were in the top 5 but not number one, note that while I don't have a special prize for being this high up, I must admit that I did attempt to find a way to reach into my computer and hug both you and your work because it was awesome and all of you who entered should seriously keep making art because y'all are talented.

This was SOOOOOO worth the wait! I love how many different scenes are encorporated, and that while they all look awesome on their own, they look even better when it's all put together! I think this is one of the most unique entries I got for this contest and I LOVE it.

THIS IS SO CUTE IT HURTS! I don't have another way to describe it, other than that it's shiny and I like that. It's like all the fluff I love in one picture and everybody just looks adorable (don't tell Joy I called her adorable) Just- *squeals* I LOVE IT.

Active, your talent knows no bounds. I love how this one is so badass, and it's hard to pick out individual things I love about it because it's so perfect as a whole. The way it's set up, the way the characters look- I feel like I'm looking at the movie poster for the next greatest film ever, how could I not LOVE THIS.

I. LOVE. THIS. It's like the whole gang got together and took a selfie! I don't think I've ever wanted to hug a picture before and I don't know why hugging is the first thing that comes to mind when I see this, it JUST DOES AND I WANT TO HUG IT. Especially Air, because she looks adorable. This is just so awesome. Like I want to throw it on my senior page so that everyone in my school is forced to see it awesome.

Getting this submission was like the second best email I have ever recieved, and it's only second best because no one can top an email from Misha Collins that's addressed to 'my love', sorry. But just! I LOVE IT. It's so clean, it's got those little clouds that add so much to it, and I love how the whole thing is surrounded by Glory and Deathbringer and they're basically in a heart shape too. AND JUST JOY AND KELP BASICALLY MIRRORING THAT I CAN'T- *flails* Do I even have to explain why this one is the winner? Because I think it speaks for itself in its PURE EPICNESS!
And there you have it folks, the top five and the winner of the JALGFY Art contest!! I do not have a date for the published edition's release yet, but I promise you will know when I do! I'm also not entirely sure how the selling of the published copies will go yet- I'm toying both with the idea of making my own website for it, or just using a third party site.
