Dominick
My paws crunched in the snow, kicking up chunks of ice as we raced forward. The cold air was cutting the back of my throat and I was panting through the stitch I'd developed about 2 hours in. This was hell. Probably the literal definition of hell. Malik was next to me, his own face showing the same amount of disapproval as mine. Emily was at the front, her natural speed fast than the rest of us, but we could keep up. Ferdinand was racing just in front of Emily.
Somehow he'd used the moon goddess's amulet to grant himself super speed. To be honest I thought he looked like an idiot. His little legs were moving so fast in the snow they were almost blurred in my vision. But he was still far too close to Emily. Judging the height of the snow we were going towards, I realised why we couldn't take the car. Even walking in human form was a risk in this kind of environment. As wolves we were going to be lighter, more adaptable. It made sense, I just didn't like it.
It was so silent, so boring. I decided to mind link Emily, at least if I had to suffer this run, I could do it with company. I felt a fuzzy tingling in my mind as I tried to link with her, "how're you feeling?" I sent my thoughts to her. I waited and waited but nothing came through. I tried again, "Are you okay?" again, she didn't even look towards me. What the hell was going on? I sped up, running at full speed to get next to her, "Hey, are you okay?" I nuzzled my nose against her fur, "Can you hear me?" She moved her head to look at me, but nothing in her face had registered that she's heard me.
How long ago had we mind linked? It hadn't even been a week, why couldn't she hear me? I tried to mind link to Malik instead, "Hey, is this working? can you hear me?" His head shot straight to me and he connected back, "Yeah what's up man?" I almost tripped over my paws at the shock. "I can't mind link to Emily." I told him, slightly panicking. His eyes bulged out of his head, "what did you do?" Me? I hadn't done anything.
"I don't know what's going on, but she can't hear me anymore. I've tried so many times now." He looked straight ahead at Emily, "maybe wait until we stop and talk to her?" I would have to, this was driving me crazy. I knew that she wasn't ignoring me, but it felt just as bad as if she was. Maybe it had something to do with Ferdinand being so close to her? "Maybe you should try to get him away." My wolf sounded in my head. "And mess up with Emily when we're really good right now?" I questioned him. "She likes him, I'll be actively messing everything up myself if I did that."
He didn't reply, he knew I was right. He hadn't been able to keep his eyes off of Emily's wolf the whole entire way. I hadn't been able to concentrate on anything else. Unexpectedly, Ferdinand called out from the front, "we'll be stopping soon, we need to refresh ourselves and then we need to get straight back on the run again." I almost collapsed with relief. FINALLY, we would get to have a break.
It was around 20 minutes later when we all came to a halt at a river. The water was frozen rock solid, matching the rest of the landscape. I listened carefully but I couldn't hear any kind of creature for miles. Ferdinand made his way over to the stream and took out the amulet, he closed his hands around it and whispered something into the small hole by his thumbs. He then dragged the amulet across the surface of the ice and it cracked and started to melt. I'd seen him use it before. Nothing should surprise me now, but it did.
How any normal person could wield so much power seemed reckless. How could the moon goddess trust him with that? While Malik was catching snowflakes with his snout and Ferdinand was playing with magic, I decided now was the time to take Emily to the side. I padded up next to her, pushing my nose into the side of her head, I nodded towards trees and she understood. I followed as she walked us further into the foliage, stopping only when she felt comfortable. I shifted back and she joined me moments later.
"Hey" I told her, smiling. "Hello there stranger," she giggled back. "To what do I owe the pleasure?" I didn't want to waste any time, we'd have to move again soon and I needed to make her aware. "I tried to connect to your mind link while we were running," I started to say, "I asked you questions over and over but you didn't reply." She furrowed her brows, "I didn't hear anything. I wondered what you were doing when you came up beside me, but I couldn't hear you." I think it's something to do with that moon goddess necklace," I told her.
"What could be wrong with it?" She asked, looking more fearful by the second. " I'm not sure anything is wrong with it, it just seems too powerful for us to be able to communicate properly when you are so close to Ferdinand." There it was, the moment when I thought she would cut her eyes at me and call me jealous. She didn't, however. She nodded, "I'll try to stay back a little and see if it helps with the connection."
I wasn't used to being with someone who just 'got it'. This was a new experience for me. "Oh okay, great." She smiled and went to shift again, I stopped her quickly, "just one more thing..." before she could ask what, I closed the distance and placed my lips on hers, she instantly wrapped her arms around my neck and started to deepen the kiss. I picked her up by her ass and leaned her against a tree, pushing myself closer to her. I pulled away from her lips for a moment to get some air, she pulled my face back as soon as she felt like I'd had enough.
The more I kissed her, the more I started to feel dizzy with lust. Once last night was not enough. I needed her now. Reading my mind, Emily put her hand between us and gripped onto my already hardening dick. I didn't say anything, she didn't say anything, it was an unspoken command. She directed me to her entrance and I pushed, burying myself inside of her. She gasped out and moaned into my mouth. I started to move her up and down, bouncing her against the tree.
"Is this okay?" I asked her between kisses. She nodded and opened her mouth to agree, but all that came out was more and more moans. I liked this. I liked this a lot. She felt incredibly, I loved being inside her, it drove me wild. She was so tight, so wet and so warm. These thoughts alone almost brought me closer to the edge. Her moaning started to get louder, I leaned her against the tree and covered her mouth with my hand as I started to thrust inside of her faster. Her moaning was turning me on, god her little noises made me want to cum right there.
All too quickly I heard footsteps and breaking branches. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" Ferdinand was standing with his arms crossed, frowning at us like we were children. "We have places to be." He was still standing there, not giving us any more privacy. I wanted to kill him. I was going to kill him. I was so close and now for the rest of the run I'd be sexually frustrated. He walked away a few moments later when neither of us replied. I looked at Emily and she was completely embarrassed.
"Don't listen to him, he's jealous that he doesn't get any." I told her, flicking at her nose. She smiled a half hearted smile and I set her down. I'd have to keep my urges at bay more. How the hell was I meant to do that when I had the most perfect woman to help me out. Emily shifted and ran towards the stream. I watched Ferdinand track her movements as she emerged from the trees. He looked away from her and his eyes found mine. We glared at each other but neither of us would break the stare.
I didn't trust him. I wouldn't trust him, not when he had looked at her like that. She was mine.
