I looked at Elena, was she being serious? "You think I can?" She nodded, "you'll need to lie next to him so that you can enter the dream realm naturally. The closer you are to someone, the easier their door is to find." I knew Dom's door already. He'd shown me months ago when we first started doing this. I was confident I could find it now and recognise it out of the rest.

I shuffled myself next to Dom and took one last long look at him, "you nervous?" Elena asked from the side. I nodded, "don't be, if anyone can find him and bring him back over it's you." Me? Why me? She looked down at the floor, hiding her face before she grabbed hold of my hand. "I'm going to put you under, but you'll have to find the entrance. You do exactly what you do to enter the dream realm to open a portal but the gate should already be there."

None if this was registering, all I knew was that I needed to get in and get out as fast as possible. "Ready?" She questioned, "I don't think we have a lot of time here so you better be." I nodded, not trusting my voice. I'd been put to sleep by Elena before, but that still didn't mean it was a pleasant thought. "Count back from ten." She instructed me. So I did.

I was under.

Everything was black. My eyes were open and yet I couldn't see a thing. My feet left as if they were on solid ground and yet I had nowhere to walk. This wasn't the dream realm that I knew. I started walking, I wasn't sure where I was going or if I was even going anywhere, but I needed to do something. My legs were moving up and down and I did feel the ground underneath my feet, it just didn't feel like I was making any progress.

All of a sudden, a small glow to the left side of my body started to fade into my vision. I turned my whole body to face it and walked quicker towards it. Any kind of light was better than nothing here, maybe then I'd be able to tell where I was. The glow which had started small, was now doubling in size the closer I got.

Was I getting closer to the glowing light? Or was the glowing light getting closer to me? I really didn't know the difference right now. As the edges of the light started to dim with the size of the luminous ball, I could see that there was more to it than I'd originally thought. There was on orange tone to the whole thing, almost like the glow of a giant candle.

The closer I got, the more I could feel a breeze. It was cold, biting cold actually. I was painfully reminded that I'd only worn my shorts and tank top to bed, then again I wasn't exactly expecting to be visiting the dream world to save the alpha that was always saving me. I shivered as I walked closer to the light, I almost felt warm in contrast to the dark environment around me.

Shapes started to form behind the light, I could make out colour too, there was green and brown and grey. Soon enough, I could see a door, I realised that the brown I had seen was a big round door, the green was moss that covered it and hung from stones around it and the orange glowing light was actually a lamp.

It would've been almost cute if I hadn't remembered the whole reason I was here. Dom needed my help, I had to find his door. I shuffled myself closer to the wood, it was open slightly but I couldn't see inside. It was as dark inside as it had been walking around this empty space. How Dom ever found his way around here was beyond me.

I pushed at the wood and it opened without much effort. The breeze that came though shocked my spine into an upright position, this would've been great for posture training. I started to panic as my body was sucked towards the door, it was like a vacuum and I couldn't stop it. Tears stung my eyes as the force of the wind whipped at my face, I closed them on impact and wished to be anywhere but here.

Then, all of a sudden it was gone. I was standing in a corridor, twinkling starlight above my head. I was in the dream realm. I couldn't believe it, I had actually made it without Dom. My happiness was short lived as I remembered how he'd been and my heart broke. I walked forwards, careful of my steps until I came to a big rounded space. I closed my eyes and thought of Dom.

I thought of the alpha of Dawn and how kind he was, how his touch melted me and how his eyes drew me in. I thought of his bravery and his compassion for everyone else. It was almost as if he could've been there with me by the time I'd remembered everything. I cracked open my eyes and saw the white door in front of me. The one I knew was his door from camp, the one he'd told me about the first time we'd come here together.

I touched the handle, it was cold, just as cold as his face had been. I flinched back, but caught myself a second later and forced myself through the door. If he can do it for me, for his family and for his pack... I could do this for him. I didn't know what was going to be on the other side, I wasn't sure if he was even here. But his door opened and that, I knew, meant he was still with us somewhere.

I could hear voices on the other side, a black misty void beckoned me in. I knew that the black swirling hole was a portal and that calmed my nerves a little more. I was thankful for the countless times Dom had stayed to teach me until the early hours of the morning. Stepping into the portal, I vowed that this one was for him.

I walked straight through and saw him lay in a bed, it didn't appear to be his bed that resided in the pack house, but I knew from experience that he would be manifested where he felt most comfortable. I walked over to him, sitting next to his sleeping body. "I'm here. I came for you." I told him, brushing his hair from his face. "Now I need your help, I don't know what to do."

I had started to notice that the more I spoke, the less I could hear the voices echoing in the room we were sat in. "Dom? Can you hear me?" The voices got even quieter. I leaned closer to his, my lips next to his ear as I whispered, "wake up alpha, come play with me, I've missed you."

His eyes flew open.

He started speaking in a language I didn't understand. Over and over again.

"Jag kommer. Jag kommer att ta tillbaka det som är mitt. Jag kommer. Jag kommer att ta tillbaka det som är mitt. Jag kommer. Jag kommer att ta tillbaka det som är mitt."

I backed away from the bed and watched as his eyes focused, blinking as we were getting accustomed to the light in the room. He looked over at me, "Little varg? What're you doing here?" Did he really have no recollection of what had happened? This was bad. This was very very bad.
