Logan
Emily screamed, her screech stopping the battle that was raging around us. Blood started to pool from the stranger's mouth and his body hardened into coal. Another quake shook the ground and what was left of him crumbled into nothing more than ash.
Behind him a woman cackled and clapped her hands together. "While he was certainly the most useful being, he doesn't know when to shut up does he?" She was dressed in all white, her blonde hair cascading around her body as if it was floating in an invisible river.
She was beautiful.
"Logan," Dominick called, "if we haven't already... Let us introduce the moon goddess.
Her smile was serpent-like as she glued her eyes onto him. "I'm surprised you made your way back here, Kresnik. I thought for sure I'd find you in the realm I left you in." Left him in? Some other realm? I thought they had all been together in Sweden. "Some friends helped me to find my way back." Dominick told her, his face straight and unemotional. Emily was beside herself, trying to get to Ferdinand's body. Dominick was the only thing holding her back.
"I don't think we've had the pleasure of meeting?" She held her hand out towards me, I didn't take it. I chanced a look over at my mate, I wasn't sure when she would be ready or how long these things usually took, but I had to keep her talking. "I'm Alpha Logan of the Midnight Moon pack." I addressed her. Her laugh was hollow, "you don't think I already know that?" She took a step forward, I thought she was moving towards Emily but she turned in my direction instead. "I can make you the king of all Alphas if you kill your little Ex-wolf over there."
I twisted my face up in disgust. "Why would I ever accept something as hideous as that?" I spat at her. If she was unsure of who's side I was on, she knew now. she scowled at me, not bothering with pleasantries anymore. "Fine, I'll just have to get rid of you too." Her hand raised to attack, I held myself tall and prepared to shift back.
I didn't need to...
A hand shot out in front of me and pushed me backwards, I stumbled on my feet but stayed standing. Who would have the nerve to-
I cut myself off.
I was shaking.
I was confused.
Standing in front of my body was my father. Not exactly in the flesh, but he seemed to be here all the same. His body looked as if it was shimmering with light as he stared the moon goddess down, "don't you dare lay a hand on my son." Gasps started to rise around me as another figure stepped out, this time it was next to Alpha Dominick. "And if you think you are touching a hair on my son's mate's head, you have another thing coming..." That was Alpha Daniel, Dominick's father. The two men looked similar with their flickering figures, but each had his own powerful aura. I was in awe as I watched them stand together.
Dominick pushed Emily behind his back and stepped up next to his father, they looked at each other for a moment, I couldn't tell what either was thinking. I took the few steps that it took to stand next to my father, Alpha Choal.
And there we stood, four Alphas of different generations and we were ready to take on the most powerful being in the universe together. I looked at my mate, she was sweating now, channeling all of her energy into saving the rest of world. I knew there was nothing I wouldn't do for love.
For her.
