Sunday morning already but I barely had any sleep last night.

Over thinking about everything made it difficult for me to peacefully close my eyes.

I hadn't been able to reach Lan ever since. He had not called neither has he picked my calls.

I had dated a number of guys but I'd never slept with any of them, not even Daniel, but I did with Lan, even if we weren't officially dating.

What the fuck was I thinking?

Now I'm beginning to doubt everything. Did he just use me?

And there was Timothy, having a difficult type of family issue right now.

He has never been fond of his family, especially his dad but he'd just received a shocking news about him.

He'd left for the hospital immediately after our last encounter and insisted that I don't follow him.

I'd never seen him behave the way he did the last time neither have I ever imagined it. It made me begin to wonder what type of relationship he must have had with his family, I had the urge to know what exactly happened but I doubt he would want to tell me anything.

I wanted to call him and ask him about but I noticed that I didn't have his number with no way of getting it. I just hope he's fine and everything is under control right now.

I wanted to drop back my phone until I noticed two unread messages.

It wasn't a saved number, but it was an unknown number that I can never forget.

It was Cheryl's number.

I tapped open the message with sweaty hands.

It read;

'How have your weekend been? I surprisingly miss you already.'

I swiped down to the other message;

'And I almost forgot. Your ex is sweeter than candy.'

I had wished that Monday wouldn't come by so soon but it was one of those wishes that chooses not to come to pass.

This weekend was stale.

Everything keeps on crashing on me at the same time and I don't even understand what's going on with my family.

Mom and Ivy had been acting weird lately and Kelly had decided to take our argument to heart. Dad has also been nowhere to be found.
