Smells Like Teen Spirit - 3

I wasn't sure about keeping up with cheerleading, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to keep doing it. It's like extra training.

"Don't you just love the smell of cheerleading in the morning?" Caroline said with a smile as we stretched.

"Yes I do"

"Has anybody seen Dana?" one of the cheerleaders behind us asks, receiving no answer. 

I know where Dana is, she's rotting in a hole somewhere.

"Sounds like you have an opening on the squad." An all too familiar voice says from behind me and Caroline.

We stop our stretches and turn to the person, seeing of course Rebekah.

"What are you doing?" I ask as she keeps stretching.

"Hey. Hey. You can't just come here and infiltrate all of our lives." Caroline says.
Rebekah stands and tilts her head at Caroline.

"I'm only interested in yours. Your spunk, your popularity."

She then looks over at Tyler who was practicing on the field.

"Maybe even your boyfriend." Rebekah says before going back to stretching.

"What a bitch" I mumble under my breath, Carolines focus is elsewhere and I can see why.

Tyler just compelled the freaking coach.

"Try to be a little more subtle, Tyler." Caroline criticizes him as we approach.

Tyler smiles. "Coming from the queen of subtlety? Relax. I'm in total control."

"Then why are you acting like this?" She questions.

Tyler looks at her. "Drop it, Caroline. I'm fine. I've never been better. Klaus has given me this...gift."

Caroline and I frown at his choice of words. "What?!" The two of us questioned with a frown.

Some of the boys on the team, chattered behind us about Rebekah so we all turned around to see her making impressive gymnastic moves that end with a front split. She looks at me, Caroline and Tyler with a smile.

"My God!" Caroline says in exasperation. "Damn, girl's got moves." Tyler comments, earning him a side glare from Caroline before he leaves.

I scoffed as Caroline and I watched Rebekah with the others, showing off even more.

"Exhibit C"

We all had agreed we needed to do something about Stefan so we all met up in Alaric's classroom to discuss the plan.

"I'll lure Stefan away from the bonfire" Elena explained "Then when he's distracted..."

"We shoot him." I finish for her.

Damon speaks up from next to me. "Can't Bonnie just ju-ju him or something?"

"I'm trying to keep Bonnie out of this," Elena explains. "I don't trust that Stefan won't hurt her. Caroline, are you covered?"

Caroline nods. "Yes! I will make sure that the old Forbes jail cell is prepped and ready." She  said with a show of her hands.

"We're forgetting a key player here. Rebekah? Wherever Stefan goes, the blonde ponytail tends to follow." Damon says, proving a point.

I looked at him and smirked. "Which is why it's your job to keep her away."

Damon frowns. "How?! She's an Original. Last time I checked, we're out of daggers."

"So then preoccupy her with your charm. Smolder her, I don't know something gentleman like" I tell him till Alaric mutters under his breath

"Might have better luck finding the dagger."

Damon glares at him. "Are you ever not going to be mad at me for a day?"

Alaric glares back. "Doubtful."

"Sorry I'm late" Tyler announced as he walked into the classroom. "What's going on?" He asks.

I clasped my hand in front of me as I explained what we needed from him

"Ty we need you to raid your mom's vervain supply just enough to keep Stefan down for a while."

Tyler looks between all of us as if we are crazy. "You can't do that to Stefan."

Caroline frowns, "Why not?"

"Trust me, Tyler, it's in his best interest."

"Yeah. It's not in Klaus'."

Caroline raises an eyebrow. "But Klaus is the bad guy, Tyler. You know, why are you acting like some freaky, hybrid, slave minion."

Caroline expresses, "Uh-oh." Damon says as he stands, making small strides and looking suspiciously at Tyler.

"What?" I ask him. "Klaus made me who I am, Caroline. I owe him everything."

Tyler says to her which makes us all frown, "Oh, boy" Caroline turns to us all. "Okay, can we cool it on the commentary, please."

Elena looks over at Damon. "What is going on?" Damon doesn't answer and takes a vervain dart off Alaric's desk.

Tyler looks at us all weirdly. "I'm just going to go."

Tyler turns around and starts walking to the door but Damon rushes over behind him and injects him with the vervain dart and Tyler now being half vampire collapsed because of it.

"What are you doing?!" Caroline yells as she rushes to Tyler's side, "He's been sired." Damon answered without an explanation "What?" Alaric and I ask in sync.

"Sired. He feels loyal to Klaus because Klaus's blood created him."  Elena frowns. "Loyal how?"

Damon looks back at Tyler. "He'll seek acceptance from his master. It's really rare. But maybe not so much in hybrids."

Caroline looks up at him. "So how do I fix him?" 

"Get a new boyfriend."

I slowly lifted my gaze to Elena who's eyebrows shot up knowing what I was going to say so she raised a hand

"No! Don't you dare say it" she said sternly.

I couldn't help myself of course so I said it either way, pointing at Tyler.
