Thirty-eight

I honestly hope we can just find Stiles and get this over and done with. I just want my brother back and to be living a normal life with Scott, we haven't even told anyone about us. I haven't even spoken to Peter yet, I know once I tell him about the whole Scott thing. He's going to be extremely mad and I know how he can't really stand Scott, and it kills me knowing that I'm going to break his heart. Yes, some people think that he doesn't have a heart but I see right through him and I know he cares. I mean it's hard not to.

We walk into Allison and her father's aparment building. It's time to stop this Nogitsune and bring my brother back.

"This is everything non-lethal I could find" Allison tells us as we look at all the stuff she has set out on the table

"Takw all of it" Mr Argent tell his daughter

"What's the plan here?" My dad asks

"Our best shot right now is for Derek to try to pick up Stiles' scent at Eichan house. Especially if he went through something stressful there" Argent says and I step in

"He did. I saw it. Malia was there as well, Stiles almost killed her. Well, the Nogitsune actually got into this crazy boy and Stiles ended up saving her" I tell them

"Should all five of us be going to the same place?" My dad asks

"Where else has Stiles been showing up?" Mr Argent asks

"School, the hospital" Allison says

"Okay, hold on. We did this already. He disappeared. We started looking for him. Then walked right into a trap at the hospital" Derek says and I nod

"He's getting us to repeat the same moves" Mr Argent says

"So, what do we do? Wait for him to comes to us?" Allison asks

"I mean I could find him. Try to get into his head?" I ask with a shrug

"We can't. Not if the Oni find him when the sun goes down" Derek tells me

"Scott's working on them right now, with Kira" My dad tells us and I feel a bit jealous that she's with him and I'm not

"Nicole, if you did actually get into his head. How would you do it?" Allison asks and I think back to the times when I did get into someone's head

"I don't even know. Every time I did get into Stiles' head, I was brought by the Nogitsune. I don't know how to do it on my own. I don't even know how to feel his emotions now that this thing is inside of him" I tell her and she sighs

"That's the problem. We're all trying to outfox the fox" Argent says and that's when I imediately feel the doubt in the room from everyone

"Listen. I'll understand if anyone wants to back out" My dad says

"I'm not gonna be the first wolf to run from a fox" Derek says grabbing the gun tazor

"Apparently I'm carrying a lightsaber" Mr Argent tells us

"Dad, you and Derek hit Eichan House. Sheriff, it's you, me and Nicole in the hospital. We all meet in the school" Allison tells us and I nod as I follow her and my father out the apartment

I feel so bad for Allison. She cried in the elevator which made me cry and my dad didn't know what to do with two teenaged, emotional girls. I think I need to sit down with Allison and talk to her about the Scott and I thing because that seemed to be on her mind in the elevator and it sucked, it literally sucked for me.

"What is all of this? What are these sticky notes for?" Mr Argent asks and we sit in Stiles' room looking at his chest board which is meant to show people about the supernatural. At one point I was on it but I'm not anymore, I don't actually think Stiles knows about my Empatheticness.

"This is what Stiles used to try and explain to me about all of you" My dad tells them

"Well, maybe it's a message from Stiles. The real Stiles" Allison suggests and that's when I notice my name on the board

"Why is my name on the board? It wasn't there before, I mean it was but then the Nogitsune took my wolf powers" I tell them and I shake my head

"You're an Empathetic now. Maybe Stiles knows?" Derek suggests

"How? He would've said something along time ago" I tell them and they all seem confused

"You think there's any reason why my name's on the king?" Derek asks and I look up from the board at him

"Well, you're heavily guarded. Though I guess the alarming detail is that you're on move from being in checkmate" My dad tells Derek and I look back down at the board

"It's not a message from Stiles. It's a threat from the Nogitsune" Argent says

Bring them to the loft. Tell them I'm at the loft.

"What?" I ask myself as I hear Stiles' voice in my head

You can help me. Bring them to me.

"Is this a trap?" I ask it

"Who is she talking too?" I hear Mr Argent ask

No traps. Just bring them to me.

"He's at the loft. He wants me to bring you guys to the loft" I tell them and my body starts to get cold, extremely cold

"How do you know?" Argent asks me

"He got in her head, again" Derek tells him and I nod, folding my arms as I keep myself warm

"Nights falling" I tell them and my body gets warmer

"This couldn't sound any more like a trap" Argent tells us

"I don't think it is" Dad tells him

"I think your opinion might be slightly biased, Sheriff" Argent tells my dad

"Hear me out. W hat we're dealing with here is basically someone who lacks motive. No rhyme, no reason, right?" My dad says

"Meaning what?" Argent asks

"Our enemy is not a killer. It's a trickster. The killing is just a by- product" Dad tells us and it seems like he's really sticking to his words

"If you're trying to say it won't kill us, I'm not feeling to confident about that" Derek says

"It won't. It's wants irony. It wants to play a trick. It wants a joke. All we need to do is come up with a new punch line" My dad states

"The sun is setting, Sheriff. What do you have in mind?" Argent asks and I know what my dad is feeling
