Secret Succubus- a Damon OC Story

Chapter 6

A/N: Because Nyssa told Stefan and Damon about the council Damon hasn't been killing/attacking the townspeople left and right. Also, because Stefan left town for the moment Damon wasn't drugged at the founder's party and starved.

This is somewhat of a slow burn but instead of writing all the downbeats, I'm going to skip ahead a few times until we're in the action.

Also, Elena is still in the dark about vampires.

1 Month Later:

Elena had written to Stefan telling him about Damon and Nyssa's date. He didn't wait too much longer to start planning his return to Mystic Falls. 

The story he told her was as his birthday approached he'd have an easier time getting emancipated and would move back as soon as he could. Elena was over the moon and was counting down the days to Stefan's 17th birthday.

Stefan was sure Damon had only come to Mystic Falls to make good on his promise of an eternity of misery but when he hadn't followed him out of town he was forced to come to the conclusion his brother really did have some ulterior plan. 

Whatever it was he knew it was nothing good, when he heard about his date with Nyssa he had to assume it was part of the plan and didn't want whatever his brother was cooking up and the unavoidable fall out getting anywhere near Elena.

Damon hadn't cracked the mystery that was Nyssa Gilbert but that would have to wait, after retrieving the amber necklace via a sock the night of the Founder's party it had vanished. He was tempted to blame the crazy Gilbert girl but he had it in his possession after dropping her off that night.

Initially, he thought Zach had taken it but his nephew seemed as clueless as ever. He hated seeing him, it was always difficult to not just kill him in order to be rid of the daily reminder of the worst thing he ever did. Damon wasn't a big fan of feelings... guilt being his least favorite.

Walking from the kitchen into the great room he spotted his brother had returned.

"ugh, you're back."

Stefan gives him a tense smile, "yup, just missed you too much to stay away."

Damon rolls his eyes, "whatever, just stay out of my way."

"What no happy birthday?" 

Damon smirks, "if you're really desperate for some birthday spankings why not call over Elena, maybe you can have her dress up in a corset really compete the fantasy you are trying to create going after Katherine's double."

"That's not why I'm with Elena, I like her because she is nothing like Katherine."

Damon doesn't look so convinced, "Katherine wasn't like Katherine when we first met her, how confident are you that Ms. Gilbert isn't just showing you the convenient attractive parts of her personality? I mean that's all dating really is right? Lying to one another until you fall in 'like' with the fantasy enough you won't immediately bail when things get real."

Stefan didn't have anything to say after that.

The Grill:

Elena, Nyssa, Caroline, and Bonnie were at the Grill after school to gossip and eat some fries.

"So Stefan's really back?" Caroline asks

Elena smiles, so happy she can't completely contain it, "yeah he got back a few hours ago, he wanted some time to settle in, and then we're going to go out and celebrate his birthday,"

"Ohh birthday sex, fun!" Caroline comments excited for the juicy details later.

Elena rolls her eyes but before she can comment Nyssa notices a necklace on Bonnie, one she swears wasn't there a second ago.
