3rd Person POV:
Nyssa walks in wanting to meet Rebekah partially out of her own curiosity and partially so she can report back to her sister.
"Hey, sorry just wanted to warn you both I think Damon and Elijah will be coming in soon," Nyssa tells them pausing to look at Rebekah.
"I also wanted to introduce myself," she says extending a hand.
"And who are you?" Rebekah asks.
"Nyssa, I'm his girlfriend's sister," Nys explains.
"Well, this is awkward," Rebekah comments.
"Yeah, well I figured it would be so I brought you a gift to hopefully smooth things over," Nyssa tells her.
Rebekah scrutinizes the woman in front of her, "you did?"
"Yeah, it's a phone I already programmed a few numbers in for you. Figure you might need one," Nyssa tells her as she hears her own phone buzz.
"Hang on one second," she says looking to her screen it was a text from Jeremy
-Katherine was listening above the window just now
"shit,"
"Everything alright?" Stefan asks.
"Uh, yeah I just need to run upstairs for a bit, could you show Rebekah how the phone works?" She asks Stefan.
"Yeah of course," Stefan replies, "do you mind?" he asks Rebekah as he moves closer to walk her through her new device.
Meanwhile, Nyssa makes her way upstairs catching Katherine spying on Elijah and Damon.
"Hear anything juicy?" she asks startling the ex-vampire.
"Shit!"
"I think maybe we need to have a chat you and I,"
Katherine sneers at the idea, "pass."
"Wasn't optional," Nyssa tells her as she grabs hold of Katherine's arm pulling her up from the floor into the nearest room.
"What the hell, how are you so strong, ugh get your big meaty hands off me!" Katherine yells.
Once the door is shut Nyssa lets go and immediately asks Katherine what she heard.
"Why? Worried?"
"Yes," Nyssa answers honestly, "and I think you are too and that is understandable."
"Understandable? I'm about to be sacrificed and you find my worry understandable? Well, how generous of you!" Katherine shouts at her.
"Katherine, take a breath,"
She merely shakes her head at Nyssa, "do not tell me what to do,"
"Please would you just inhale oxygen into your lungs while I talk?" Nyssa asks her.
Katherine pauses and sucks in a big breath.
"Thank you," Nyssa tells her, "I know this is unfair, I'm sorry I am but Elijah has already told us he knows of a way for you to survive. We aren't handing you over to die, I promise."
"No, I don't believe you."
"How about this, you behave yourself for 2 more days and after you survive which you will or I will personally kill Elijah myself. I'll have him remove the compulsion... you'll be allowed to change back into a vampire."
That gets Katherine's attention but she still has to think about it.
"How can I know you're not just telling me what you know I want to hear?" Katherine asks.
