Long time followers will know I've been working on the wammys boys as real people portraits.

THEY FINALLY DONE BITCH-

It's the traumatised British orphan smart boy fucks baybee.

Here's the man of the simphood. The one this book is about. I actually used a girl as reference because I could't find a boy with his facial structure. He looks grumpy and tired because that's his whole character. His hair is also all over the place bc mans doesn't know what a hairbrush is.

Next is Near, fuck shading white hair is hard. So it's not the best shading work but he's there. Near is just the colour white personified really. He was hard to find a reference for tbh.

Matt out here with freckles, his stripes and red hair. I did the famous read hair and not the brownish bc his hair is too indecisive. Like anime him is brown, game him is BLUE??? And manga him is like grey??? So I just stuck with the fandoms red. The lighting is a bit different bc if the reference I used but it worked with the red.

Finally Mello. His scar makes him look a little asymmetrical, but that's kind of how burns work, they fuck up your skin and thus the shadows. Also not that good at shading blonde either. Basically if it not dark I'm not very good at it. Also made the burnt eye glazed over like he's gone partly blind in that eye because if the burn, realistically he would have anyway.

I used an iPad and the sketchbook app. I don't have a stylus and I cracked my screen in between doing Matt and Near. So I was stuck using my fucking finger and I probably shouldn't have been furiously colouring with my finger on a cracked screen but ok well. It worked.

I fully acknowledge I'm not the best with some colours and shading, prior to this I hadn't done realism in a year since I graduated and stopped going to art classes. So I'm a biiittt rusty but this was good practice.

If you want to use them for anything you can, just don't crop my signature out and credit one of my accs.

I do plan on doing the main kiras, but I need a damn break after this. Hopefully it'll be easier to find references for the since they're both Japanese. I tried to take the characters ethnicity into account, and L being mixed made finding refs hard and I'm not even sure if I pulled the Japanese British mix off.
