THE ANNUAL BIRTHDAY POST IS HERE WOOOOO!! Well, at time I'm posting this it's Halloween night where we live. It's probably still the 30th for some of you lol.
So, where do we start? I suppose the fact that this year I don't have any art or a oneshot. Not for any bad reason, I just didn't have time this year because I've got some major money saving and system preparation for travelling next year to do. But that's not going to stop me from making the annual sappy post.
Unless this is the first of my books you're coming across (and you completely skipped last years b day post) you'll know by now we're a system and have an L introject in here. And I've already gone on and on and on about how he's a pillar of the system, how we'd crumble without him, how he's an amazing father and partner etc. and he's beyond done with me doing that kind of stuff , exhibit A:

Bro is DONE with us lmao. He hates being the centre of attention, tbh can't blame him I don't particularly like it either.
But hey, it's his birthday and he deserves at least some recognition. To save you all the endless 'I love you' rambling, which you can see literally all over this account in the form of the 7 L oneshot books and the I've lost count number of full L stories, I'll instead be telling you some of the amazing things he's done in the past year for us.
•handled the arrival of new alters like it's absolutely nothing, since he's been doing that since 2015. Any time someone new shows up, he's calm and right to the point. We've only had 3 people show up this year, and one dormancy, so definitely a massive improvement since the high school years when the system was very unstable. But each time, it's L who simply sighs and goes 'here we go again' and gets right to work settling them in.
•he spent 9 damn years juggling the role of primary protector AND co-host. Finally this year we were able to re-arrange some roles and he was able to give the protector roll to another alter. Being co host is still a lot of work, but at least he can have a little extra room to breathe. He seriously took those nine years with a double job like a champ.
•A+ baby sitter to the less than year old child of two other alters. Despite only ever having patented teenagers, I don't think kiddo has ever made a fuss when being left with L. He somehow knows how to keep the baby calm and sleepy. Somehow, L got thrust into being the dad of this system and he sure as hell does it well, even when it's not his kid. Dilf alert.
•became a tech wizard??? Idk where he learnt all this, but any tech problems we've had, he's fixed. He set up our new computer, rescued a bunch of files off our old broken one, managed to figure out how to mod several games, organised every single file we have in a single afternoon, backed up every single art file and writing file on TWO devices??? How does he manage this???
•karaoke god, especially with Japanese city pop from the 80s. Put on Bay City and he'll belt that shit.
•worlds best soother. Sad? Not anymore. Anxious? Not if L's there. Panic attack? Nope, stop what you're doing and listen to him, he'll get you out of if. All those years of being a protector have made him like an old wise mentor and he can calm you down in minuets.
