A/n: time for a crack fic! Obviously I don't condone this kinda behaviour unless the person who wronged you is a grade A dick.

"THAT FUCKING SKANK-"

L jumped hearing you angry voice and the door slam behind him.

"What happened?" Miss asked.

"THE BASTARD WAS CHEATING ON ME-"

L blinked, taking those words in. Your boyfriend was cheating on you? So his suspicions were right?

"HE WHAT-" Misa snapped.

Oh L was paying attention now. He may not be the smartest when it came to girls, but he had noticed one thing in all the cases he'd done involving disgruntled lovers. And that's girls are ruthless in these situations. Girls always knew someone who had the roof, girls knew girls who knew girls. And the fact you were telling Misa this, means she's tell her fiends, who'd tell their friends and before you know it every girl in the city knows the mans a cheater.

"Does the other girl know she's only a side chick?" Misa asked.

"I don't think so, I can't gat mad at her if she didn't even know" you replied.

"You know what you gotta do now right?"

L turned to watch the conversation, now invested.

"Oh yeah..."

Ah, ok. Note to self, if you want to keep your dick on your body don't cheat on (y/n). Got it. Why anyone would wanna cheat on you anyway was beyond him. To L, you were like the exact type of person he liked. He'd always had a bit of a crush on you, but never did anything because you had a boyfriend. Looks like he might have a chance now though...

"So, what's the plan?" Misa asked.

"Oh I wanna make this mother fuckers life hell. I'm gonna message the other girl and explain things and hopefully she'll side with me, trap him in the act and expose him together" you replied.

"Ooo I like it. Gonna tag his car or something?"

"I think his house is more fun, I know it's technically vandalism buuttt... the detective who's clearly evesdropping on us can can pull some strings"

Oops, busted. You and Misa turned to L, who was suddenly part of this revenge plot.

"I protect the law, not encourage you to break it" L said.

"Wow killjoy much?" You joked.

"See I knew he was invested in the drama" Misa laughed.

"Look usually I wouldn't let this slide but... he was always kind of, for lack of better word; a dick" L said.

When L did background checks on the taskforce, he did notice your now ex was a bit of an ass. And from the looks of things you'd lost interest a while ago but stayed out of confusion with your own feelings. But clearly this was all you needs to fall out of love completely. No one would blame you though. Cheaters are the worst kind of people. So he'd go along with this little plan just this once.

"I'm going to try and contact the girl. I'll update you" you said, getting up and heading to your room in taskforce to do so.

As soon as you left, Misa turned to L and gave him a smirk.
