HAPPY BIRTHDAY L!

I think this is the 6th(?) year I've done a birthday oneshot/ post for him. Idk at this point I've lost track.

But without further ado, his birthday fanart.

When I draw him in realism I try to balance out his features between all his ethnicities since mans is mixed, so I hope it worked and he looks the way he's meant to as a mixed character.

But ayo that's this years annual fanart done! And today you'll get a double post for his birthday oneshot too.

Now I could make a very long emotional speech on how much I love him, but I've done it many times before and I'd be saying essentially the exact same thing as all the other years.

So here's a shortened version:

Roses are red, violets are blue (they're purple but ok), L you've stolen my soul but I still love you.

Ok but for real, he's absolutely the subject of my special interest. I just didn't know it until this year because my DUMB fucking ass didn't seem to connect the dots that the family history of neurodivergency included me. It's been 7 years stuck on this very intense interest on L and I don't plan on letting it go any time soon. I just keep on worshiping him.

He truly has been my lifeline since year 7, and now I'm a highschool graduate having been out of school for a year. He's probably the only reason I even got through the hellhole that was the education system, I used him as a distraction from all the horrible stuff that happened in school. And even thought I've graduated I still stand by L and use him as a distraction from life. Bc life is mean man. I appreciate everything he's done for me, he may be fictional but he's very real in my heart and I love him to bits.

So what are my next L related projects? Well obviously write more oneshots and finish all my stories with him as the subject. I also want to build a ball jointed doll of him to add to my collection of L merch and dolls. I'm already looking at some parts for it lol. I also wanna get myself the 2.0 nendroid bc I only have the 1.0 at the moment. When 2.0 was released I missed it because shipping took Australia is FUCKING stupid.
(Side note: I ordered a binder from America and the shipping cost $40. I swear to god,,, if I didn't need that binder I wouldn't have paid it thats fucking ridiculous)

Anyways I also wanna try and turn a broken monster high doll into L as well. Like Frankenstein all the doll parts together and re-paint it into L, I just need to get some more parts for it.

I like toys and dolls if you couldn't tell. You'd think I'd be a Near kinnie with my collection.

Other than that I don't really have any new L projects lined up since I've kinda done almost everything over the course of my 7 years as a simp. I've cosplayed him, drawn him, make tons of fanfic, collected merch, made AMVs/ edits, made analysis' on him... what is there left to do other than simp? Well there is that tattoo I want and had to postpone because of the rona, hopefully I can have the money for that eventually.

I could name a ferret after him? My girl literally had babies today. Halloween baby ferrets.

Oh yeah bonus update on the death note ferrets for long time followers. Despite the sad loss of ferret Mello, ferret Matt and Near are all grown up and are freaking huge. If I do name a ferret after L I'll make sure he has some dark Eyebags.

Anyways, I dunno, we'll see where my simp-hood takes me from here.
