Summary: You and Taylor make up the following morning
***

You had forgotten that you had fallen asleep on the couch until the next morning when you woke up to the delicious smell of your favorite breakfast meal.

Pancakes and sausages.

Just as a smile formed on your face, it quickly disappeared as you remembered the little run in argument that happened last night and decided to remain where you are until Taylor came and got you, no matter how long you might have to wait. Stubbornness is something that is unusual for you, but you decided to be stubborn today and let Taylor take the first step on apologies. After all, she was the one to have started it, right? After that thought had come through, you quickly felt guilty after something had reminded you that she had a bad day yesterday and didn't deserve your stubbornness or anything else that could add onto it.

Letting out a sight, you gathered yourself together as you let the blanket fall from you and made your way to the kitchen. When you got there, you've noticed the dishes had all been done and the kitchen was squeaky clean if not any cleaner. It was clear to you that Taylor had gotten up early enough to have done all of this before you woke up. The next thing you noticed was the table was set for the two of you to eat together and that was when you walked up behind Taylor as she was flipping pancakes and wrapped your arms around her. She slightly jumped at your touch but settled when she realized it was you.

"Morning." You say, sleepily.

Taylor drops what she was doing and turns around to return the hug. She pulls you close to her and for a while, no one says anything. But she is the first to speak up with an explanation and an apology. She had felt guilty for taking her bad day out on you that she didn't sleep at all last night and wanted to do anything she can to make it up to you and to make things right.

"I'm so sorry for what I said last night. There's no excuse for it and I hope you can forgive me."

"It's okay, Taylor. I understand that you had a bad day yesterday-"

"No, it's not okay. Just because I had a bad day doesn't make it okay for what I said. Something inside me had woken up and I took my bad day out on you and that's not okay. The way I treated you last night was unacceptable."

Now it was your turn to say something. However, you didn't know what to say to that and remained silent until a thought had come across you.

"Why don't we both just forget about it and have some breakfast? Maybe you can tell me about how your day went yesterday?"

Taylor looked at you and smiled.

"I think I'd like that."

"Good."

Taylor pulls out a chair for you to sit down in before she walks over to her seat next to you as she begins to tell you about her day.
