"A dinner cruise?" You ask, with an eyebrow raised.
"Yeah, what do you think?"
"I've never been on one before, so I think that's a great idea!"
"Great! I'll go make the reservations!"
You and Taylor had been trying to come with some ideas to celebrate your three year anniversary of being together. While you fell asleep, she came across the idea of a dinner cruise and looked more into it before suggesting the idea. As of right now, you and Taylor were living in her Los Angeles home near the beach, both of you couldn't be any happier. The reservations were made for the following evening, the event taking place in Long Beach, not far from Catalina Island, you could see it in the distance.
Taylor had rented out the boat so it was just the two of you, other then some of the crew on board. It was early in the evening, and for the meal was soft shelled tacos, with refried beans on the side, along with a soda of your choice as the beverage. You were always wanting to be found trying something new, and this was a time that you were doing exactly that. Who knew a dinner cruise could be so much fun, right? After finishing your meal, you both went to the top deck of the small boat and watched the sunset over the ocean while holding each other.
Ironically, "Enchanted" started to play over the speakers, and Taylor was humming to it more in a ghostly like hum and it was just beautiful for you to hear.
"I really enjoy being with you." Taylor says, you look up at her and smiled.
"I really enjoy being with you even more," you say.
"You know, we've been on so many adventures together, and I do love every one of them. But the next time, I want to go with someone else."
"Come again?"
Taylor pulls a little black box from her jacket pocket before opening it for you to see what was inside.
"If it's alright with you, I want to go with my wife next time."
This was the surprise of your life, you weren't expecting it, nor you didn't see it coming your way, it took your breath away. Of course you were going to accept her proposal, it just took a minute to find the words.
"Do you accept?"
"I do."
As soon as the ring was slipped onto your finger, that was the moment your dreams had come true. A special event with a surprise proposal, you couldn't be any happier then you felt.
You were with the girl of your dreams, forever and ever.
