*** Taylor honestly didn't know what to think of this, this being of Family Guy making fun of her in the show.
You were trying to wait up for Taylor by putting a couple of shows on, one of them included Family Guy. Taylor was working late again tonight, and she had told you that because she didn't have an ideal timing she would get off, so she tells you that you didn't have to wait up for her if you were too tired. The funny thing was, you don't remember falling asleep, now you had woken up to Taylor entering in the shared home.
Just as Taylor was going to announce that she was home, something from tv caught her attention. Taylor was never a fan of Family Guy, and when she saw that was what you were watching, she just about took the remote away from under your hand when once again, her attention was pulled away. This time, it was because she heard her name being mentioned on the show. As she took a spot on the couch next your sleeping form, she continued to watch a little more of it. She wasn't taking any offense out of this, she thought it was kind of funny and dumb. As it had gotten to the part of Stewie asking about an ex of hers from a while back, she felt you shift in your sleep and didn't think much of it until you started mumbling something to her as you begin to slowly wake up.
"What was that, baby?" She asked, your eyes adjust before you say it again.
"How long have you been home?"
"Not for very long, I came in and saw you were asleep, but I didn't want to wake you so I just sat next you until you either did, or until I fell asleep myself."
"I don't mind if you wake me. Wait, what are you watching?"
"Well, you had Family Guy on, so I just left it on the show and got sucked into it."
Before you could reply, it was your turn to direct your attention on the tv.
It's now at the part when Peter Griffin becomes an Uber driver, you both giggle as you watch him make all the ridiculous errands before taking the passenger to the airport. By now, Peter is walking out of his yoga class.
"That was one bitch of a class. Anyways, what time is your flight?"
"It's in twenty minutes!!!"
"Oh boy, I can't make it in twenty minutes. I better call you a lift."
Another goofy looking car then quickly stops in front of Peter, and his twin as the driver.
"Come on, hurry up! Get in! I hope you like The Offspring. Let's go!"
When your show comes to an end, you look over at Taylor for reaction in seeing her character being portrayed in this episode.
All you really got out of her for a reaction was an eye roll, shaking her head with a chuckle, resulting in you not being able to hold one back yourself. Neither of you paid any attention to how late it was until you let out a yawn, Taylor checks the time on her phone and discovers it's after two in the morning.
"Well it can't be two in the morning already!" She says.
"It is! Time really does fly unexpectedly. We should probably get some sleep."
"I think you're right, (Y/n). Sounds like a good idea, and hey, I'm free for the next few days and thought we could maybe go on a shopping spree tomorrow or something?"
"I'd love to!"
"Great! Now we really need our sleep for that."
With that being said, you followed Taylor up the stairs and into your shared bedroom.
Sleep came just as soon as your heads hit the pillows beneath you.
