It was your birthday and she understood that she had yet to introduce you to her parents and family members.
As she would often ponder when the best time to make that happen, it got her thinking what better timing to do so on a special occasion then for her queen's birthday?
Even though you hadn't been formally introduced, she told her family everything about you and the relationship you had, how happy you both were together, as you both make an excellent team. To say they were a little skeptical about it at first, was understandable as they didn't understand this choice of lifestyle. When it comes right down to it, all that mattered to them was of their daughter's happiness and how pleased they are to know that you were her happiness. Knowing you didn't have anything special planned yet, she took the time in calling her mother and discussed party plans, turning this into a surprise party. Not a word, or any sort of hint was ever made to you, as it would be one pleasant surprise in your favor.
Taylor knew she had to come up with a diversion in order to get you out of the house without seeming suspicious that something else was up. So, it didn't take her long to come up with one before calling you over to her.
"Y/n?"
"Yes?"
You emerge from the bathroom, giving her undivided attention.
"Do you want to go out tonight? Selena had been texting me to see if you wanted to go out to dinner?"
"Sure! Where to?"
"That's what she's asking me, what sounds good?"
"Olive Garden!"
"Great! I'll let her know!"
Once everything was arranged, you soon find yourself getting seated in the car before making your way to what you believed was Olive Garden. Although it was meant to be kept as a surprise, Taylor decided to tell you of the actual destination for the evening meal. In her mind, she didn't want you to feel as if she was trying to make a cruel intent by blindsiding you in anyway.
"So... I have a little surprise for you."
"Oh? What is it?"
"The thing is, we're actually heading over to meet my family."
Your eyes widen in part of your response to this news before actually having anything to say.
"Really?"
"Of course, I'm telling you this because I didn't want you to feel I was trying to play dirty or anything. There is one more thing; my mom and I have been planning a party for you. My family had been wanting to meet you for a while now, and I know that you have been wanting that as well. So... happy birthday, love."
This is truly a wonderful surprise given to you, Taylor couldn't be anywhere right of you wanting to meet family all throughout her busy schedule, and now; it was finally happening. There really was no better timing then now, at the exact moment. "It's now or never." is something you would often say about the things you really wanted to do or/and accomplish in life.
