Pairing: Taylor x female!reader

A/N: This is a repost from my previous account @girlxreaders***
You were on the girl's softball team, it was a sport that you loved and had so much passion for ever since your high school years.
After you graduated, you continued to play and once you found a team to join, you without hesitation, joined the team and they welcomed you in with open arms.
You have many supporters from family members and friends, but none other then your girlfriend, Taylor. Today, you had another game and because it was out of city, the both of you decided to make a weekend getaway out of it. It was a beautiful thing to see them sitting on the bleachers, holding up homemade signs with your name on them as they chanted your name. The only down part of this game today, was today was a gloomy day, it rained earlier and yet the clouds were still rolling in, meaning you were performing this game on wet, slick grass. However, you teamed up with the coach and decided that you weren't going to let a little rain stop you from playing this game and the game was still on as scheduled. So, here you are, waiting for the pitcher to make her move so you can make your own move in catching the ball in your gloved hand. When the hit came, you wasted no time in making your run for it as your name could be heard.
When you started your run, you had made a small jump to catch the ball in your glove, only to slip on the wet grass. It caused you to fall hard as you sprained your ankle and hit your chin on the hard impact. You felt the wind knock out of you as your vision went fuzzy for a split second as you prayed silently that your teeth were still there. You laid there for a minute, trying to gain your composure before making an attempt to push yourself up and go back in the game.
You got to the point of propping yourself up on your elbows, barely sitting up when the medics rushed into your aid as well as Taylor, along with your mom.
"Oh my god, Y/n! Are you okay?!" She asked, in a panicked tone.
"I'm fine, Tay. I really-" You hissed and jumped a little as one of the medics made contact with your sprained ankle.
"Shit!"
After being looked over, you were advised to sit out for the rest of this game and the next few in order to heal properly. Although you were bummed out and felt discouraged, you still stayed and cheered your team on rather then letting Taylor taking you home right away.
