Pairing: Taylor Swift x female!reader
Warnings: None
Requested: No***
You and Taylor were now out on what would be your sixth date now.
You really couldn't be any happier then to you were when with Taylor, and Taylor felt the same when she was with you. Heck, just even the thought of you brought a smile to her face, she couldn't dream of being with anyone else, and she knew something needed to be said.
In Taylor's point of view, all she needed was to find the right moment to say those three words to you, but the right moment just didn't seem right. Or at least, that's what she had thought. You were crashing at her place for your date night together, watching your favorite movies together. She held back on the romance comedies and instead, suggested that you watch some marvel movies she knew that you enjoyed watching any time.
It was easy to agree to, you had chosen to watch both of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" films in her theater room downstairs. Throughout the movie, you both cuddled next to each other and held hands, and you were wanting to say it, but you just felt too shy to let those words roll off your tongue. When the movies got over, it was nearing one in the morning and you needed to head for home. Taylor helped gathered your things together and you put to your car and wanted until your headlights disappeared into the night before going back inside. When she re-entered, she noticed you had left behind your scarf, and immediately tried to get in touch with you about it.
When you didn't answer her phone call, she left you a voicemail, and that's when she let those three words off her tongue, as she would do if she was leaving the voicemail to her mother instead of you. She didn't realize she had said them until after she hung up the call, and couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed, yet nervous about how you might respond. About twenty minutes later, you sent her a text message of your response to her and she was just as nervous to open it. But when she did, she felt the love for you grow even more in her heart.
It was a simple, but sweet text message you sent her.
"Thank you for letting me know, I love you too, sweetheart."
Exchanging those messages with one another was what made your relationship official. Well, privately anyway. For right now, at least. It would be secret until you both felt ready to release it out into the public's eye.
The both of you really looked forward to what the adventures the relationship will bring you in the future, and you couldn't wait.
