You were just out with your girlfriends as they were keeping you entertained with drinks and jokes.
The ultimate purpose of this night was supposed to be all about friends and having the time of your lives.
Because of Taylor's busy schedule, she was unable to attend the girls night and it just wasn't the same without her. You've spoken to your friends about it, how sometimes Taylor's busy and booker schedule made you feel lonely, as they would reassure that you couldn't help the way you feel once you admitted having that thought made you feel guilty. Taylor didn't have any idea of the way it was making you feel, and you told them that, which what started them to encourage you to call Taylor right at that moment to let her know how it was making you feel. Although you hesitated, you went ahead and did just that as you weren't in a clear state of mind after drinking as much as you did.
This would make it the first ever drunken phone call you've made to Taylor, and it was one you wouldn't remember right away, once you sober up.
"Ah, I'm so nervous."
"Just remember, be strong. Let her have it a little bit." (F/n) said.
Taylor didn't pick up until after the third ring, and she knew that you weren't yourself almost right away.
"(Y/n)? Are you okay?"
"We need to talk." You say, in slurred speech.
"Are you... are you drunk?"
"Why are you so busy all the time?"
"You're drunk, aren't you? Do I need to come get you?"
"Yeah, because we need to talk about clearing your schedule."
You couldn't see it, but Taylor rolls her eyes as you repeat yourself before hanging up.
In your drunken state, you let your phone slip from your hand, almost falling with it yourself as you couldn't keep a steady balancing for having one too many. Luckily, you had a great group of friends who took care of you until Taylor was able to pick you up and take you home. What happened next was, you fall asleep on the way home and you don't remember the call being made to Taylor as a reality, you thought the whole thing was a dream.
However, Taylor took in what you said more seriously then you intended for her take in. Although she's taken more days off her busy schedule, you couldn't help but feel guilty about telling her what you told her. Through it all, it was all meant to stay within you and you didn't have any plans whatsoever to let the truth slip your tongue.
"It's okay, (Y/n). In fact, I'm glad you said something because I've been missing you like you wouldn't believe."
"Not as much as I've missed you. I hope I'm not getting you into trouble with work."
"In case you've forgotten, I'm my own boss and I can work whenever I want to."
"How could I have forgotten?"
The two of you can't help but laugh at that, joking about it while enjoying just being with each other.
There's no one else you'd rather spend the rest of your life with other then Taylor. She's the most amazing person you ever have known, not only to know, but to have in your life.
