It all started with the messages through Facebook, your ex has been trying to contact you ever since Taylor made your relationship public.

At first, you didn't acknowledge them and pretended they weren't even there. It was easy at first, but then they just coming through and soon became hard to ignore. They've said things like, "Are you 1000% sure this sl*** is the one for you?" and the more messages that came in, the more nasty they become.

When you could no longer take them, you couldn't bring yourself to send something back, so you took it in your hands and acknowledged them to Taylor, who suggested that you just ought to block her on all social media accounts. Of course, you took that advice and blocked her everywhere you could, including your email address. For a while, it seemed to work and things were quiet; while it seemed to be working for everyone until one night you decided to go out with some friends. You tried talking Taylor into going with your group, but she insisted on staying home.

"Are you sure?" You ask, not too fond of the idea of her being home alone.

"Of course, and you know I'll call you if there's anything I need."

"Okay, then..." A honk was soon heard, indicating that your friends were now here.

"While I'm here, is there anything you need while I'm out?"

"I'm good, just head out. You don't want to keep them waiting!" Taylor laughs, kissing your cheek before letting you go.

It's been a good two hours since you left, but Taylor wasn't the least bit worried.

Taylor wanted for you to keep up on your well-being and going out with friends was doing the job. You've been stressed out with all the nonsense of the ex harassing you with those messages that you hardly had time to enjoy yourself, and she knew this was what you needed. Taylor also knew your friends; you had a wonderful group of friends who cared deeply about you and would always call her if something had gone wrong. The last time when things went slightly out of hand, you had all gone out for drinks and you had gone a little over the edge so they called Taylor and asked her to come pick you up instead of allowing you to drive home.

Taylor was sitting at her keyboard, working on a duet song featuring Ed Sheeran when the doorbell rang. Thinking of the possibility that it could be you, she stood up and prepared to answer your call. What Taylor wasn't prepared for was who she opened the door to, and that was of your ex girlfriend, Sherri Louis. It was hard for her to not immediately recognize her, but more harder for her to swallow her composure and be unknowing.

"Can I help you?"

"I think so, is Y/n home?"

"No, she left. I'm afraid you missed her, she's traveling out of state for a while." Taylor lies, and is surprised by the fact Sherri accepts the reason of your absence.

"Okay, can you let her know that I stopped by and to give me a call?"

"Who's asking, if I may ask?"

"Sherri. Sherri Louis."

"Sure, I'll give her the message."

"Thanks."

That was pretty much the end of it; although Taylor said she would, she kept the visit a secret from you after going through the reasons not to in her mind, making that decision in fear of it possibly upsetting you and that was the last thing she wanted.
