Meghan's POV:
It was dinner time, but I didn't see Alex the whole day after we were at Harry's office. I thought maybe he was doing the mandatory physical therapy. I was with Ela, Grace, and Emma
Grace: "so he's awake ?" She asked
"Yeah, I think he's doing the physical therapy with Doc" Ela and Emma were keeping quiet for some reason, they looked.. distant, from reality
"You girls ok ?" I asked the both of them
Emma: "how is he awake ? Gustave said a few months till he wakes up"
"Aren't you glad that he is though ? After all, he's a teammate"
Ela: "we are, we just.. we can't forget that operation"
Emma: "mainly, what he did"
"Come on! He saved the hostages and the Brits"
Emma: "but at the cost of making them see terrifying things. I had to calm down a little boy who kept telling me that there were rats coming out of my mouth"
"It was necessary"
Ela: "there's always a price that needs to be paid, but I have to think that Alex will pay anything as long as the mission gets done. Even at a very high cost like poisoning the hostages"
"We're all soldiers, and soldiers need to pay anything for the mission. Including our own lives"
Emma: "yes, our own lives. And we always keep the innocent out of danger no matter what. He put them through mental torture"
"It was either that or be killed by the enemy. Which one did you prefer back there ?"
Grace: "ladies, take it easy" she tried calming us down
Emma: "what if there was another way ? What if he wanted to gas everyone just because he enjoys the fear in their eyes ??"
"Then tell me if there was another way! Because there was not!" I looked at her with wide eyes while we kept silence for a couple of seconds
Emma: "but you still did not answer my second question" I dont know if he enjoys looking at the fear in people's eyes, so I kept shut
Gustave: "Meghan ?" Doc came over our booth in a really wrong time
"Yeah ?" I looked at him
Gustave: "have you seen Alex ?" What ?
"He's not with you ?"
Gustave: "no, he's supposed to do the therapy with me for the day. I looked for him everywhere, I didn't find him"
"I need to go" I said to the girls and got up to walk with Doc
"Did you check his room ?" I asked
Gustave: "yes, I knocked but there was no response. He shouldn't be far because of his injuries" that was worrying me
"We need to go to security and check the surveillance cameras in the hallways" he nodded. We got into the elevator and headed to the intelligence team floor which was on the 3rd floor. The doors were opened and we walked in
Mason: "Meghan ? What brings you by ? You have any intel for us ?" He asked
"Unfortunately, no. But I need a favor"
Mason: "will that get me a cup of coffee with you ?" He asked
Gustave: "I'm sorry to intervene, but I believe the madame is not intrested in having unprofessional relations in this work area" he stated
