Alex's POV:
It's been two weeks, and in those two weeks, Rainbow Operators kept on being sent out on missions, few of them were joint operations with NightHaven. We were trying our best to gain more time by landing a few punches on the White Masks, but we had a feeling that it did so little to them. But all in all, things were going great with Meghan. Her and Mom got to know eachother more, and embarrassing stories have been shared... But now I was in R&D trying to fix Ryad's (Jackal) Eyenox after an explosion went out that did alot of damage to the circuits. Elena asked me to fix it since we had a deal so... but after I fixed it, I went down to the lounge because Meghan told me she'd be there after she comes from her mission. I walked in and saw her drinking with Lera and Monika
"Ladies" I greeted and sat next to Meg
Meghan: "Hey" she greeted me with a kiss on the cheek
"How was the mission ? Anything I need to be worried about ?" I asked while looking up and down at her to see if any wounds came back with her
Meghan: "took on a big guy head-on, got out with this" she lifted her top to show me a patched up wound
"Stab wound ?" I asked
Meghan: "no, just a slash. But he got more than that" she smirked
"My girl"
Monika: "did you fix Ryad's Eyenox ?" I nodded
Lera: "so we are going to ignore the fact these two are together ?" I saw Meghan flip her the bird
"Yeah I fixed it, it didn't take long" Lera poured me a drink after I took a seat
Monika: "what was the problem ?"
"The shockwave of the explosion did a number on the circuits, so I replaced them and rewired everything"
Monika: "boring"
Oliver's POV:
"Get the five of them here" I ordered one of the soldiers. Then he came back with them behind
"Plague, step forward" he did as I ordered
"You'll be on lead on tomorrow's mission. Your objective is to hurt Rainbow as much as possible, dont pull your punches. Our men will hold the French embassy for a distraction while a few will be working on arming the Nerve Gas on the Times Square. When Rainbow goes for the embassy, that's when you'll be attacking them while they arm it" I saw Pestilence raise his hand
"Speak, Pestilence"
Pestilence: "sir, what about Griffin ? He's been taken hostage for a few weeks now"
"That is why you'll be attacking Rainbow directly, payback for your brother in arms. I'm giving you a chance at revenge, leave the fight to us while you kill whoever is infront of you from Rainbow. But keep an eye out for Alex, try to grab him and bring him here"
Plague: "thank you for giving us the opportunity, sir" they all saluted
Alex's POV:
In the next day, I was having lunch with my mom and Meghan in my room
Meghan: "So how are things with Mike ?" She asked while eating the lasagna mom made
Mom: "oh he's a gentleman, makes one helluva cup of tea." I was irritated at that thought
Meghan: "Norah, you do know that the SAS dont treat Alex well. They did when he first joined but-"
Mom: "it was after that mission you did in Afghanistan. yes, I know. It's all soldiers quarrel" she answered her immediately. I noticed how she used the word "quarrel" it's a British word after all
