Dotty Family Moments.

Awkward Encounter.

(for the first time, this will not be a fluffy domestic chapter. breebaq has suggested I do a different meeting between Letty and Elena. I'll try to keep Letty as in character as I possibly can, without seeming petty... Heh that rhymes. 😂 Anyway enough rambling, let's see how I do. Set in a slight A . U yes I am doing that incase I mess it up. 😂 )

The crew had all been sent in a flight to L . A. Hobbs offered Dom anything within his powe for taking down Owen Shaw, he had said "1327". confused faces were shown by all except Brian and Mia, who felt very excited to hear those numbers for some reason.

Once they landed and had driven to the location, they saw why. 1327 was an old house. It looked abandoned with overgrown weeds and grass. The paint was also in a bad way as well. Letty, who had ridden with Dom, looked at the house. "this your home?" she asked.

Dom felt a pain in his heart. He had hoped that she would remember the old house. Their home. "it's actually our home. Me and Mia lived here for years then little by little more friends came over and just forgot to leave, including you, Let." he smiled remembering the past times.

They all parked up along the sides off the roads and up the drive. Dom's charger, Brian's skyline, Roman's white lambo, Tej's corvette and Han's s15. They were going to have a barbecue, to christen the new family before they went on their own roads to life. There was chat, banter and a lot of coronas. Roman and Tej manning the grill with Han, Brian and Mia giving little Jack a tour of his new home and Dom and Letty just enjoying coronas together. It was perfect.

Hobbs showed up for a few minutes. He told Dom that pardons were issued to them all. Then they saw Elena, she came up tí8 say goodbye to Dom. "Elena, you know you don't have to go." he said trying to reason with her. She inhaled "yes I do, this is your family, and this is mine." she showed her badge for the force. "goodbye Dom." she kissed him on the cheek.

Letty saw this act and felt this small feeling of anger within her heart. She couldn't remember anything, but she did know that Dom was her man. No one was going to take her away from him ever again. She walked over to Dom and looked at Elena. In her eyes she could see the memories that she and Dom had shared before finding out that she was alive. That hurt her, she couldn't remember anything Dom and her had done, yet Dom could remember it all. Letty not wanting to seem weak said "Elena I wanted to thank you for looking after Dom." Elena smiled sadly "it takes an amazing woman Letty finished. Elena looked at Dom and said" he's an amazing guy" the two shared a look and Hobbs left Elena following quickly.

Dom and Letty went to the table once the food was called ready. Dom stood at the head of the table with Letty standing beside him. "any of this look familiar?" hhe asked hopeful. Letty took a look around "no." she said simply. Dom felt a sadness once again in his heart. "but it feels like home." she finished. Dom smiled "that's good enough for me." he replied. Dom took his seat at the head of the table and as if by instinct, Letty took a seat on his lap. He put an arm around her waist and said "OK Roman, bless our table" roman said a surprisingly good and serious grace. They then all tucked into the food and enjoyed the peace for once.

Later that night, Dom and Letty were about to head to bed. "so, which room is mine?" she asked. Dom froze. He knew damn well which room was hers but he feared her reaction. "umm, actually, Let. We share a room." he closed his eyes awaiting her response. An uncharacteristic blush came upon her face. "o.. Oh. Ummm... Is that so." this was very awkward. "yeah, we were quite... close" Dom said as he stifled a laugh. They went to the room and looked around it. It was plain and contained a big king-sized mattress. "this was our haven. Where we could talk about anything and everything in the world. And since the barbecue, you have been quiet." Letty didn't know what to say. Or even how to say it. "it's kinda a long story." she began. "I got nothing but time, Let." she looked into his eyes and sighed deeply. "earlier today, when you were talking to Elena, I saw this look in her eye. She was remembering all of her moments that you two shared while I was gone. It made me think of the memories you see with me and I can't remember that with you." she sniffled. "you see the last 15 years of our adventures. All I see is my time in London." Dom watched as she cried.

He said nothing and just held her close, letting her cry into his chest. He spoke up. "Letty, I don't blame you for feeling this way. But even though the last 15 years were amazing together, our future will be just as good together. I just need you in my life and then I am good. I thought I lost you and I never want to lose you again. We are free from our old life and now we can start a fresh one. And if you remember our memories from before, then we can see what will happen then." he kissed her forehead. She looked into his eyes." I was never this soft, was I?" she asked him." no, you were always full of quips, remarks and, my personal favourite, tough. You didn't need anyone of anything, you did it yourself. It was one of the many things I fell in love with you for." he finished.

Letty had finished her moment and thanked Dom for his words. The two went to sleep side by side hugging each other almost afraid to let go.

It was around 1 in the morning. Letty began to stir. Flashes flew around her eyes. Images that she didn't recognise flew past her. She began to stir more violently causing Dom to awaken. He saw her flapping around and tried desperately to calm her down. "Let, baby it's alright. Wake up. It's alright I've got you." he spoke gently but apparently loud enough to wake up Brian and Mia who rushed in. They saw Letty and just watched from the door. Suddenly her eyes shot open and she shot up in the bed. She gripped onto Dom as though he was her life support (which he really was). He let her calm down slightly before asking her if she was alright. all she said was "they're back" she whispered. Dom was confused. "what's back, Letty?" Letty looked him in the eye. "my memories. I saw it all. It flashed before me." Dom let a sigh of relief out. "thank god." he said as he clung to her. "why didn't you tell me we were married?" she siad. Dom went wide eyed. Then braced himself as he waited for Mia to tear his head off. "married?" Mia whisper yelled "where, when?" Dom grimaced. "Dominican Republic, 2006." Mia did some mental maths really quickly in her head. "YOU'VE BEEN MARRIED FOR 10 YEARS???" she yelled completely forgetting that Jack was in the room next door. She ran to comfort her child saying "this conversation is not over" running out. Brian just said "I'll calm her down." before leaving too. Dom laughed as Letty asked the question again. "why didn't you tell me we were married?" Dom looked at her. "because you can't tell someone they love you." he replied.

Letty nodded in response. She kissed him and he kissed her back. Then once again the two fell asleep holding each other. They wanted to make sure they were fully rested for when Mia was going to shout at them the next day.

(Sorry if that ended rather quickly. I had no idea what I was doing. 😂😂. I'm more used to my fluffy chapters, but this was a nice and much appreciated suggestion.
