(we got our Little B back in this one)

"Here you are Mommy". Brian said as he came back with the metal water bottle that he volunteered to get for his mother.

"Thanks baby". She said with a smile as she took the bottle. "You got your one?" Brian flashed his brightest smile and held his one up . "Uh huh". He nodded. He was just a little ball of Joy.

They were in the garage. Dom and Brian (O'Connor that is) were out getting a delivery of various car parts. So it was just the two of them in for now.

One of the clients arrived to pick up their car. A tall blond. Skirt barely above her thighs. Boots and crop top. Letty mentally rolled her eyes. Women like this drove her insane.

"Hi, I'm here to pick up my car" she said. "Sure thing. We're just getting the last pieces of detailing done now" she said kindly.

"Perfect. I'll just wait here then". Letty was beginning to think perhaps she judged the woman too early. "Of course, should be another 10 minutes".

Little B watched as Letty detailed the last bits of the car. She was quizzing him on each job. He was doing flawlessly.

Another woman came in and sat beside the first woman. The two were clearly friends. Sharing the terrible taste in skank clothing. "Oh my god. Isn't that Letty?" She asked. "Ortiz?" The second one questioned. "Oh shit. I never recognized her...damn she got kinda old".

Unbeknownst to them Letty could hear every word. "Woah, look there's a kid here too. What kind of parent let's their kid in a garage where he could hurt himself". The second one said rudely.

Letty was slowly losing her cool. "Definitely the uncaring kind, I wonder where the hell his mother is, she clearly doesn't care for her own son.".

Letty rolled herself from under the car. "to answer your first question, the type of parent that let's their kid in a garage is called a mechanic, like his father. Secondly, his mother is right here, bitch. And he knows I love and care about him more than words could ever describe. Right bubba?".

She gestured to herself as she picked Brian up. Brian nodded sweetly and hugged Letty

"Your car's finished. Now get the hell out". She laid down the keys and walked away with Brian looking behind at the two.

"Mommy you said a naughty word". He giggled. Letty was glad he wasn't affected by their hurtful words. She just smiled and said "sorry, baby. Let's not tell daddy about this. Ok?" She brought her finger up to her mouth. "Ok mommy". He gave her a hug. "I love you mommy" he said sweetly.

"I love you too baby. More than you'll ever know" she said as she kissed his little forehead.

Never mess with Letty's boys, that is if you want to remain able to walk.
