On the plane back to the US, Dom and Letty began making up for lost time. They had not let go of each other in the unlikely event that this was a dream, one they didn't want to wake up from.

Letty, who wanted to get her news off her chest spoke up. "We need to talk". Dom nodded in agreement. "You got that right". They both sat up to face each other. "So....what did she have on you?" Letty pushed. "There's only one reason you'd turn your back on us, and that would be to save us". Dom was relieved to know that Letty knew he'd never turn on her. "she had Elena" he said with a grimace. "Killed her right in front of me".

Letty was shocked. "Motherfucker. How the hell can someone be so cold". She furied "wait...if she killed her, why didn't you just leave?"

Dom just thought about ripping the band-aid off. "She had my son". Letty felt her stomach turn. "Your what?" She said barely above a whisper. "My son....I didn't even know he existed, Letty. But once I saw him....I had to protect him". Dom explained. "I understand this is a lot to take in...and I fully understand if you want to leave me because of it".

Letty stared out into the openness of their room. "You have a son..." She repeated. "I'm sorry Letty....you gotta believe this though, you are still THE most important person in my universe".

"I don't doubt it, Dom....and I could leave you, but then we'd both be single parents". Dom looked at her instantly. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Are you....?" Letty felt tears rise. She was overcome with emotion yet again. All she could do was nod yes. "Wow....ok. we're having a kid together".

He hugged her, expecting her to pull away. But she didn't. "I couldn't do this alone, Dom. I need us. This kid needs us. Your son needs us. Honestly, nothing is ever normal for us, but it's never stopped us before. I've always believed in us and I'll always believe in us and I know that this is definitely not how we intended on beginning our family together. But let's make the best out of this situation....we can learn together".

Dom kissed her forehead. "I love you so much Letty. Thanks for not giving up on me" Dom said. "I'll never ever give up on us. Ride or die, remember?"

"So...when do I get to meet our boy?" Lefts said changing the subject. "Shaw's bringing him to New York..." Letty's brow furrowed. "Shaw's dead". She stated. "Not exactly. I had a whole plan to ruin cipher and Shaw agreed to help me once I asked his mother to force him". Letty snickered "Shaw's a mommy's boy?"

Dom also had to grin. "The best of us are". He said. "And when do we tell everyone else about this?" She gestured to her stomach, after twenty years of being together, Dom knew every inch of her body so to him he could see the slightest of curves over her midsection.

Dom thought for a second. "Why not when we name our son?" Letty looked at him. "He doesn't have a name?" Dom shook his head. "No, Elena thought I should be the one to name him. She always just called him 'marcos' it's his middle name". Letty nodded in understanding. "You got any names?" She asked. "I'm going to call him after my Brother". He said confidently. Letty smiled as she leaned her head on his shoulder. "Brian-Marcos-Toretto. That's a strong name" she said. "So how far along are you?" Dom asked excitedly. "The doctor said I was two months pregnant". After some quick mental math in his head. "The second wedding?" He asked. "That was a rough night, it had to be then". Letty confirmed.

"You ready for this new beginning?" He asked. "Nope" Letty responded. "But we'll get through it together". "A quarter mile at a time".

-------------------------

The idea of not drinking for 7 months was going to take getting used to, though if she was being completely honest with herself, beer wouldn't have been able to solve this fear that was eating away at her.

She was minutes away from not only telling the family that she was expecting, but also meeting her stepson for the first time. There were so many things going through her head, there always seemed to be.

Shaw arrived with the carrier and after a brief exchange with Dom, he left but not before Letty was able to give him a hug. "Thanks for bringing him home". Shaw was taken aback by the gesture but smiled none the less. "Not a problem.... kid's infectious" he said before leaving.

Letty watched as Dom lifted the baby out of the carrier. She watched Dom and the baby interact, she was falling in love with him more and more by the second.

Dom brought the baby over. "I want to introduce you to the most important person in my universe" he said looking from the baby to her. Letty ducked her head slightly as she blushed from her husband's flattering words. "The one who never gave up on me." He finished as he invited Letty to join the two in a hug. She obliged and looked at the infant. "He's beautiful" she said as she rubbed the baby's foot causing him to look at her with those innocent brown eyes. "Yep" she said. "I'm already in love with this little guy".

Once everyone gathered around the table. Dom and Letty proudly stood at the head of the table, Letty was holding the infant and smiling at him making him giggle.

"You've heard me say, that you never turn your back on Family... And I want to thank you all for never turning your back on me". Letty re adjusted the baby. "You wanna meet them, Bubba?" She asked as she kissed his little head. "Alright" Dom said. "Everyone....meet Brian"

The table erupted with applause and cheers as the family shouted their welcomes to the baby. Little Brian even clapped too which made the whole family's hearts practically explode with cuteness. "Now before we say Grace, we've one more announcement to make, I know we've just announced the name of our first child, but we hope you'll all be able to make it to the second one, in just 7 short months from now"

The table looked shocked as Letty took her free hand and placed it on the very slight curve that was almost beginning to show on her midsection. More applause and cheers from the family. Both new additions were so loved already, it might look odd to anyone outside of their family circle, but for them it was perfect. "I guess it's my turn to say Grace" Dom said as he sat down beside his wife. Everyone joined hands, Letty holding onto Brian's little hand because of how Dom had to hold him. And Dom began speaking.

This was the true beginning of their new life together.

The end.
