Letty and cipher got to the sub. "I don't know why I'm still surprised....no one ever really leaves" Letty said relieved to see Giselle again.

"I missed you all....how is Han?" Giselle asked, returning the hug. "Same as he's always been. He took your death very hard". Giselle was saddened. "I hated to do this to you all, but Nobody had all the strings pulled. He's the one who's running the show now".

Letty turned to her friend. "He's here?" She questioned. "You didn't really think he was gone, did you?, he's a man of many shadows".

Letty let a wry smile take over her face. "We also have the rest of the family gathered too". Letty was confused. "Why?" Giselle turned to her. "The whole family has been targeted. Shaw, Queenie, Brian and Mia. Hobbs too, but he's out in the field".

Letty froze. This was the first she had heard about the whole family being taken into whatever this whole mess has been. "I hate to cut this reunion short" cipher interrupted "but I'd very much like a warm shower after what we've just endured". Giselle pointed down the hall. "Showers are at the end of the third hall on the right".

Cipher took note and went down the hall. "Come on, I'll bring you to the rest of the family". She led the way for Letty. "I heard you and Dom were settled down before this kicked off". She spoke. Letty smiled slightly. "Yeah, we rebuilt Dom's family home, and now we're raising our boy, Dom named him after Brian. We call him Little B. He loves chargers just like his Dad". Letty spoke as she let her motherly side show. She always loved speaking about Little B.

Giselle smiled. "I hope I get to meet him when this all ends". This stopped Letty in her tracks. "What do you mean? He was with Mia. Isn't he with her now?" Giselle shook her head. "No, she told me that her brother Jakob took him after the house was attacked.

This further panicked Letty. "The house was attacked?!" She hadn't felt fear like this before. "Do you know where they are?" She asked feeling frantic. "Last we heard, Jakob had met up with Dom. So B must be with his dad by now".

"Where's Nobody? I need to talk to him". Letty asked harshly. Giselle nodded. They moved briskly through sets of doors. Until Giselle stopped and opened a door. Nobody stood at his makeshift desk. "Suprise" he said before Letty cut him off. "We'll chat later, Nobody, but right now I need you to tell me what happened to my family. Where is my husband and son?"

Nobody grimaced. "Letty, we managed to take back a small part of God's eye and we found Dom. But...uh, well, you might not like what you're about to see. He pointed to a screen. Letty watched. She saw Dom's car drop from a plane, Little Brian get taken by a wine coloured impala, Jakob's car explode. Dom's car get harpoond.

Her heart beat rapidly in her chest. She saw Dom get little B back. But then saw them get stuck on the dam. She watched as Dom drove off the dam. And relaxed as she saw him get B to safety. But then she saw fire and then the camera lost connection.

Letty couldn't speak. "That's all we could get. We have no idea what has happened to them, and even though we've seen him pull through the most impossible of tasks before, even we're seated a little uneasy this time around". Nobody said somberly.

"He....it can't be" was all Letty said before collapsing. She clung to the cross Tess had given her back at the prison. "My Baby" she exhaled tearfully. Her heart felt like it was eating her alive. "No....that can't be it".

Nobody and Giselle watched. They knew there was nothing they could do to help. "Letty, I'm sorry. " Giselle said knowing that the situation was grim. She and Nobody went to give her a moment alone.

When they left the room, Letty choked out a loud gut wrenching sob. "They can't be gone. They're all I have". Her voice breaking several times as she continued to cry.

Memories flashed through her mind

"I like you, you idiot" she practically screamed at Dom. "But no, you never ever noticed the signs. What did you want me to do Dom? Wear one of them tiny skirts? Dye my hair blonde? Sit my ass on your crotch and directly tell you to fuck my brains?".

For the first time in his life Dominic Toretto was speechless. "Whatever. I'm out of here" Letty was about to storm off. But Dom grabbed her wrist. Before she had time to react and snap at him some more, he pressed his lips on hers. Letty cursed herself on how easy it was for her to buckle with him. "I like you too, Letty". He told her, looking deeply into his eyes.  "I just didn't know if you'd take me".

"I vow, wherever you go, I go. You fight, I fight. And if you ever die on me, Dominic Toretto, then I'm gunna gie with you". The priest gave his final blessings and the two joined lips, for the first time now as husband and wife.

Dom walked in holding a cheerful little Baby. He too had a smile on his own face. "what are you smiling about?" She asked with a smile of her own. "Just wait" he handed the Baby to Letty. "What's got daddy all happy, Bubba?" Brian bounced on her lap and flapped his tiny arms. "Mama" he said. Letty's mouth dropped. "Did you just say, Mama?" She asked the Baby. "Mama" Brian repeated. Letty held the baby up high and then brought him down close to pepper his Little face in kisses. "Well done baby, I'm so proud of you".

Little Brian walking towards her stumbling slightly but smiling as he reached for her.

"You drifting yet?"
"I am, you should have seen us. It was so cool mom".

She remained on the floor. Numbly processing the new information she had learnt. She couldn't accept that there was even a slight possibility that they were gone.

She didn't even want to keep up the fight anymore. Without her two boys, it wasn't worth it.

But on the slight chance that they did manage to live, she had to keep going. Not knowing was the worst part. Soon, anger overtook her. Determination ablaze. "Don't worry, boys. Momma's coming" she said aloud to herself. Whoever was behind this was now going to get far more than they bargained for, because everyone knows, you do not mess with a momma bear's cub.

(So me and my overthinking brain, figured out that Letty doesn't know B isn't still with Mia, or that the WHOLE family has been targeted. Or that B and Dom had their explosive battle with Dante. So what is a writer to do? Make up a one shot that hopefully the movie will adapt in some form.
