Family Tinkering

"see what's happening?" Dom moves Brian closer to the tractor engine. "See how it's working now?". He asks as little B nods his head.

Dom had always wanted to do this kind of teaching. His nephew however, was a little more into the imports, O'Connor's teaching.

But his son was all American muscle......and tractors currently. Showing him the proper extensions, what the problem was within the engine, he enjoyed every minute.

Letty walks out in a set of blue overalls, rsg in hand. She walks over to her two boys. She practically melted seeing her husband teaching their son (her stepson) his secret ways.

"Water heather out again?". She asks with a smile. Dom turns around and briefly admires his wife's sheer beauty.

Pushing a strong twenty years together and still, with her short natural hair, in a set of creased overalls, she was still the sexiest woman he'd ever laid eyes on.

"The price we pay for piece and quiet". Dom replies with w smile of his own. "Hi mommy". Little Brian pipes up. " Wanna come give us a hand?" Dom asks.

"Sure thing, papi". She says as she walks over toward her boys. "What's next, Daddy?" Little B asks. "Well seems that we've fixed the tractor for now, Bud". Dom said knowing full well it would be about a week before it was back to being inspected for problems.

"How about we all take a look at my car?"Dom proposes. "Yeah!" Little B says excitedly as he ran ahead towards the barn where Dom kept his charger.

Both Dom and Letty shared a look with a smile. That little boy was always full of energy.

While working on the car. Little Brian was placed behind the wheel of the car. Dom was checking under the hood and Letty was underneath the chassis.

Dom went over to Brian and whispered for him to reach into the glove compartment. Brian did so and retrieved a small box and a flower. "Go give that to Mommy". He whispered.

"Mommy, I've got something for you". Brian said as he stood by her feet.

Letty slid out from under the car and her smile broadened. "Thanks bubba". She said as she looked around to Dom.

She opened the box and let out a little gasp. Inside was a silver wedding band with a large diamond on the top.

Dom walked around to her. "Figured it was 'bout time I put a proper ring on your finger".  He said with a smile. "Its so sparkly". Brian added. Letty felt very special,indeed.

"Dom, baby, it's beautiful. I love it". She said as he took her hand and slid it on her ring finger. "I love you, Letty. I'm sorry it took us this long to finally get to this moment". He said looking a little ashamed.

"You've nothing to be sorry for, papi. Our lives are anything but traditional, we make our own path. I wouldn't trade it for the world".

"I love you both so much" she said as she gave her two boys a hug. Little Brian loved hugs and called out "family hugs! My favorite".

Dom and Letty laughed slightly. "Mine too, buddy". She said as she held him.

That night they settled Little B to bed. " Goodnight,. mommy. Goodnight daddy. I love you". "We love you too, little guy" Letty said.

"Oh, papi, I think we need to get back to work". Letty said rwther serious. "With what?" Dom questioned. "Well, I need my personal mechanic to get down under and inspect around". She said as she moved closer. Swaying her hips with purpose as she got close to his neck and rubbed her lips against it.

Without hesitation, Dom scooped her up bridal style. "Torretto's garage is open for business, let's give it the full service and see how she goes". he said as they made their way to the bedroom, quietly closing the door behind them.
