Letty was on the floor of the pent house that she and her husband has bought while they were located in New York.

She was currently sitting on the floor, legs crossed under her playing with their new housemate, the most beautiful little man Letty had ever seen, her step son, Little Brian. He had entered their lives in such an unusual way, but none the less, he was adored.

As Letty watched the little toddler crawl around and enjoy himself, she thought about how much she was enjoying this moment. In all honesty, she never saw herself as a mother. But something changed after she got her memories back. All of a sudden, she realised that time was short, Dom and her had already missed out on so much together, and despite being different than most, she was still human. And what kind of person doesn't absolutely melt watching the love of their lives playing with a child?

Once she had been treated to examples of Dom being a great uncle, and both their nieces and nephews coming to her for attention as well, she was on her way to desperately wanting that with Dom permanently.

But like everything, it never went their way. But it did go someway and in the end, they are now parents to the little boy in front of her.

Letty had been so deep in thought that she hadn't noticed little Brian had crawled off to another room. He made his way to the nursery, and climbed onto the chair that was placed beside his bed. He grabbed the small book that was on it. He looked at the book and cooed contently. The book in his hand was his favourite as his mother always read it when it was bedtime. He made his way back to his mother.

Letty was still thinking of her new found motherhood when she was brought back to reality by the little baby showing in front of her. She couldn't help the big smile that appeared on her face. With his dummy in his mouth and big beautiful eyes asking her a silent question, he turned around and sat himself in her lap. "Whatcha got there, little guy?" She asked as he made himself comfy. She handed her his book and looked at her again with those eyes asking her to read it.

Letty smiled then looked at the clock. It was close enough to his afternoon nap. "You want me to read to you?" Brian clapped his hands. "Alright then, Bubba". She said as she carefully re adjusted him so he could see the pictures.

Not many would expect Letty Toretto to be a good story teller, but after a few, all be it persuaded, occasions where she read to Brian and Mia's kids, she was becoming something of s natural of it.

Letty opened the book and began reading in a relaxed but also expressive tone. Occasionally giving little Brian a quick glance to make sure he was ok.

Dom returned to their little place of solitude and heard his wife reading to their boy. Dom always knew there was only one being in this world that was capable of mothering his child, but yet still he was always surprised when she kept finding new ways to prove him correct.

Letty had heard the door open before she had finished the book so she wasn't to see her husband standing by the frame of the door when she was on her way to place the now fast asleep baby in his crib. She leaned the baby towards Dom so he could kiss him goodnight. "Sleep well, son". He whispered.

Dom watched Letty walk to their boy's nursery, she expertly carried the baby. So gentle and gracious. It would be hard to convince anyone that Brian was their first child.

Letty placed the sleeping infant in his crib and kissed his forehead. "Have a nice nap, Bubba. I love you". She said as she turned on the baby monitor and quietly left the room. When she turned, she found Dom grinning at her. "You're an incredible mother, Let". He said as he embraced her. "he makes it easy". She responded with a slight shrug.

Although Letty hadn't expected to become a mother in the way she did, she wouldn't trade it for anything. Especially when the little guy could make her feel like the most special person in the world by doing something so simple and small.

The end.

(Haha, knew I'd get an ending at some point. I hope you've all enjoyed this one shot and I'll catch you all in the next one)
