It is common knowledge what Letty is amazing at and can definitely do.....but even goddesses have their weaknesses.

Letty was still very new to this 'mothering'. She had the love part down, as ever since he had given her his little Torretto grin, she'd melted. She had the holding part down. (That took slightly longer than she would like to admit). Hell she even had the dirty diaper business down.... unfortunately, Little B was just like his Daddy.....full of surprises.

When Letty thought of the word "blowout" she thought of a flat tire....not her son's back being covered in crap. Of all the days for Dom to be visiting Buddy (I really like Buddy) at the old track.

Letty turned green. "Holy...." She couldn't even finish without the thought of vomiting up her lunch. "Jesus Christ, kid....I thought we had an understanding". She picked him up at an arms length and made a break for the bath.

Little Brian was none the wiser to what had just happened. He just rolled with it. "Christ, bud....what does daddy give you for breakfast?" She asked the infant. Brian babbled some form of response but nothing could be made out.

Letty cleaned up Brian and threw his dirty clothes in the washing machine. "Looks like we'll need to stock up on a few more clothes for you, Bud....I'm definitely not an expert at this, but we'll try our Best, Right?" She spoke to him. Brian just laughed, clearly entertained with all this.

She dressed him up in something relatively stylish before locking up and making her way to the nearest clothes shop.

Letty roamed the various stores for hours, it was in this moment where she now fully understood Mia's words. "being a mom changes almost everything about you".  Had this been for any other type of job shed have given up after all of ten minutes. But for some reason she had found this tolerable.

"All good, Baby?" She asked as Brian looked up at her. He smiled one of his irresponsible little smiles and dug his face into her shoulder with a few giggles. "I'll take that as a yes". She also laughed.

After a while more, Letty had made her purchases and was leaving the store with Brian. Never had she ever thought that she'd be buying baby clothes. But she had to admit, she was very pleased with them.

Her favorite items were a black t-shirt with the outline of a familiar looking charger, and a green t-shirt that said 'mommy's helper'. "Not too shabby, eh little guy?" She asked. But Brian was fast asleep with his head on her shoulder. Letty smiled. "Being carried all day sure does tire a kid out" she joked to herself.

She buckled Brian up into his little car seat and then set off home. Some things were much different now that Brian had entered their lives, but Letty knew that she would change absolutely none of it.

The end.

(Letty in a situation where she isn't usually, will never not entertain me. Just proves she is the best when she over comes it. Anyway, thanks as always to loomriah for the suggestion. Hopefully you enjoyed reading and I'll catch you lads and ladies in the next one.)
