Little Brian was a simple Torreto. He needed just 2 things in his life. His parents and cars that (in his little 1 year old Brain) go "zoom, zoom".

He was with his mom, Letty, at the family owned garage. Dom was out for the afternoon with Brian and Mia, they had to go to the bank to get the monthly payments in.

Letty never bothered with that sort of crap. She preferred to not know the ins and outs of mortgages for garages and just preferred to work at them all day. So she just took little Brian with her for company.

At 1 year old the little boy was just learning how to walk and talk. Last week he had spoken the word "mama" for the first time around Letty, and she was overjoyed. She had never wanted to be called anything more in all her life. Before that he began stumbling around the house on his own two feet, but as the time has gone on he's getting better at it.

She walked into the garage with Brian carefully placed on her hip and baby bag slung over her left shoulder, God of she told herself from 5 years ago that she'd be doing this, she'd have dropkicked herself. But this was her reality now. And she loved it.

She got in to the garage and got prepared to work on her Plymouth Cuda. After placing Brian in his corner of the room where he could toddle around safely and avoid being bored, she went under.

She spent no longer than an hour under the car before reaching for a spanner, to fiddle with a couple of bolts to make sure they were all perfectly tight. When she saw Brian looking at her holding his own little spanner, watching her carefully and copying.

Letty could feel the cheesy grin that was spreading across her face. Her heart melted. Brian crounched down so he could see if he was doing it correctly. Once satisfied, he continued to copy.

Letty rolled herself from under the car and spoke over to Brian "good job little man, just like mommy". She smiled as she rubbed his little head. Brian smiled and clapped his hands.

She went back over to her car and picked up a different wrench, Brian looked around his small tool set. He found a similar shaped mini wrench. And waved it in the air pleased with himself.

Letty looked back over after a while and saw him waving his wrench at her. She smiled another goofy grin. "that's right buddy". She said as she rolled herself out from under the car again. "come on my little mechanic, let's go get some lunch".

She lifted him up on her hip and made him bounce up and down. He squealed with glee and Letty smiled. She kissed him on his forehead and then they were off. Walking proudly to the café around the corner that made the Spanish baguettes that Letty would share little pieces of, with Brian.
