Jacob Torretto walked up the small drive. Ahead of him lay a very familiar garage with a finished charger sitting in it.

To his left the team....the people he had spent the last few days trying to kill. Dom had let him go. But he promised he'd stick around this time.

Dom had also told him about a certain little boy. Jacob was an uncle. He had to admit he liked the sound of that title. Dom had invited (instructed) him to come to Sunday barbecue and introduce the real him, to the family.

He stood by Mia's blue jeep, which had been the first car to arrive. Mia had been the first one to notice him. She walked over and gave him a warm hug, which he gratefully accepted.

He took in the scene, it was the exact same as when he had been a boy. Dom walked over. "Looks just like the old days" he stated. Dom gave him a brotherly hug.

Little B noticed the new arrival too and made his way over. He hugged his dad's leg. "hi Daddy" he said as he looked up at him. "Hey Buddy. Come here I wanna introduce you to someone".

Dom hoisted little B up into his arms. "B, this is Jacob. He's my Brother". Dom said. "So if he's my brother, you know what that makes him to you?" Dom looked at the boy who was thinking up the answer. "My uncle!" He replied. "I have another Uncle!!" He said joysly.

"Hey kid" Jacob said with a little wave. He was definitely out of his element talking to kids, but he definitely wanted to be as present as he could. "I...uh...brought you a little something ". He said as he handed him the bag.

Little Brian looked at his dad, silently asking if it was ok to take the bag. Dom simply nodded as he let Brian down. He took the bag from his Uncle as he looked up to look him in the eye. He opened the bag and found a black charger, just like his dad's.

Little Brian's eyes lit up. "wow!!! Daddy, look it's just like yours!!!" He said excitedly as he did little jumps in place. "what do we say, B?" Brian practically clung to Jacob's leg and said "thank you, Uncle Jacob".

Jacob was taken aback. This kid really was a Torretto. He then smiled. "You're more than welcome, little dude". He said as he rubbed his hand through the boys curly hair.

Hearing the commotion, Letty walked over. Brian noticed his mother and went to show her his new toy. "Mommy! Look at what Uncle Jacob got me". He said.

Letty looked at Jacob and smiled. For the first time in over 20 years she saw that same young man that helped her keep 1327 alive as Dom was in prison. "Wow! It's just like daddy's. Did you say thank you, Baby?" She asked.

Little Brian nodded. "Mmmn hmmn". Jacob looked at Dom "damn, kid's got an effect on people". He whispered to Dom. "you should have seen her when he was learning to talk. I ain't never seen her act so giddy when he first called her 'mama'". Dom whispered back.

"What was that, boys?" Letty asked looking them dead in the eye. "Hey mommy" little B spoke up. "Can you play with me?" Letty looked down at the boy. "of course I will, Hun. Let's go to the garage so we keep out of the adults way". She took his hand and they went over to the garage.

"Saved from the fire". Dom sighed. Jacob looked around. "I could get to used to being back at these". Dom looked at his brother. "you'll always be welcome back. This is your family too". He clapped his brother on the shoulder as they went over to where the small group of adults had gathered.

There was a sense of a new beginning, and it's safe to say that the whole family was welcoming to it.

The end.
